I had been up for a few days now trying to take care of the patients. I couldn’t live with myself if I let even one of these people die. I had a responsibility towards these people and I made a promise. In my time, the plague was still around but it was curable. With the proper treatment and the proper care from the health workers, we can surely eradicate this infectious disease.
“We have successfully finished spraying all of the houses as well as the streets with this liquid that you’ve given to us, my lady.” One of the physicians whom I asked had reported to me. I thanked him for his help and I continued to look after the patients.
