***HUMAN WORLD***
“And that's all for today.” Miss Cushion said, and everyone began leaving the lab. “Cruella, a word please.” She added the moment Cruella got up from her seat. Even though she knew why miss Cushion had called her back, she still stayed behind as the obedient student she is. She's been trying her best to adapt to the human ways and so far, she's done a great job. “I noticed your grades are slacking off this semester which is very unusual. Should I be worried about this?” Cushion asked and Cruella smiled slightly. “It's nothing to worry about miss Cush, I'm just a little distracted.” She replied politely. Miss Cush as she calls her is like a mother figure here. Aside from her best friend and boyfriend, she's the only human who's nice to her. “Okay, let me know if you need anything.” Cushion said with a smile and Cruella bounced her head before leaving. Swayer, her best friend was already at the door, waiting for her. “Let me guess, your grades?” She asked and Cruella bounced her head. “I told you, stop worrying about Maeve and just focus on your studies. If you fail this last semester then you can kiss graduation goodbye.” Swayer scolded. Cruella wanted to tell her that she wasn't at all worried about Maeve in fact, Maeve is the least of her problems right now. Everyday, she would wake up hoping she would feel different somehow, hoping she'll finally get her powers and return to her true home, Greenville but nothing ever happens. She wished she could tell Swayer about her true identity and about the supernatural world but what difference would that make? She'll still be a loser, a powerless useless being and it won't get her back to her world. “I'm sorry, I will study more.” She replied and Swayer smiled at her before taking hold of her hand. “Tomorrow is Valentine's day you know, what are you going to do? We could go shopping oh and there's a frat party at Jada's.” Swayer said excitedly. “I don't like parties.” Cruella muttered. The last time Ethan took her to a party, Maeve embarrassed her in front of everyone, reminding her again how useless she is even in the human world. Sometimes she wished she was never born. The moon goddess didn't bless her like she did with other werewolves. On her eighteenth birthday when she was supposed to have her first shift like everyone else, nothing happened. She thought it would happen the next day but even after two years, nothing happened. Then she assumed she was probably a witch and her mother reluctantly put her in witch school but after six months, she couldn't perform a single spell and got kicked out. She wanted to assume that she was a vampire but vampires were either born or made. Those who are born are known as the Elites and since she wasn't part of that, there was no way she could be a vampire. When it was discovered she had no powers, people began thinking she was human and so to avoid endangering Greenville, she was banished into the human world and since she had no powers, she couldn't find her way back in. “Ella!! Are you even listening to me?!” Swayer yelled and that's when Cruella snapped out of her trance. “I'm sorry, what were you saying?” She asked with an apologetic gaze. Swayer almost palmed herself as this wasn't the first or tenth time Ella had shut down in the middle of a conversation. “What is wrong with you Ella? We've been friends for three years now and I can't help but always feel like you're hiding something from me. You can tell me anything, you know that right?” Swayer said worriedly. “Of course I know that. I just, there are some things best kept in the dark.” Cruella replied with a sigh and knowing she won't get any different answer, Swayer decided to let the matter go and they both retired to the cafeteria. The moment they got in, Maeve sighted them and got up from her seat with a can of orange juice. “You shouldn't be here.” She said with a smirk and Cruella knew she was up for another drama. “What is it now, Maeve?” Swayer rolled her eyes. “I was just going to focus on loser Ella here but since you want to join the party, it's fine.” Maeve replied with a frown. Cruella scoffed at her words, bringing the attention back to herself. She was just fed up with all the bullying. She isn't a kid anymore and yet people still treat her like trash. She would stand up to Maeve today and show her that she got balls too. “Don't you ever get tired? Is your life so miserable that you decided to share it with others?” She asked and Maeve widened her eyes. Swayer's jaw dropped as this was the first time Cruella retaliated against Maeve's bullying. “What did you just say to me?” Maeve asked and immediately spilled her orange juice on Cruella's shirt. “Maeve are you crazy!” Swayer yelled but Cruella didn't even move. She felt strange at the moment and she couldn't tell what the feeling was but she knew it was because of anger. It was as if something was trying to come out from within and the next thing she knew, she raised her hand and it landed on Maeve's face. It was a simple slap but it sent Maeve to the ground at once, shocking everyone in the cafeteria, especially Cruella. Maeve immediately pulled herself up from the ground and tried to attack Cruella but someone grabbed her from behind. “That's enough Maeve, you started it.” Ethan said calmly but Maeve wasn't ready to back down. She didn't want to seem weak, going down from just a slap but even she was surprised at the force of it. “I'm gonna kill this useless girlfriend of yours!! Let go of me!” She yelled and kept struggling to break free. Swayer finally recovered from her shock and grabbed Cruella's hand, taking her out of the cafeteria. “We can just eat out, the next class doesn't start till an hour.” She said, but Cruella didn't respond. She only stared at her hands, a bright smile on her face. “Is this it? Do I finally have powers?” she asked still looking at her hands. “Powers? What are you talking about? I'm actually surprised you stood up to Maeve and that slap, damn!” Swayer said excitedly. “It just happened. I don't know how or why I did it.” “Well you should avoid Maeve more now. After what just happened, she won't stop until she hurts you.” Swayer said worriedly and Cruella bounced her head. She still had a smile on her face. If this was really her powers manifesting, then that means she'll be home soon. That means she would no longer be bullied and called weak or useless by anyone again. She'll finally have her wolf side and she'll finally be among a pack like everyone else but then what about Swayer and Ethan? If she gets her wolf side and goes back, she'll never see them again. She'll obviously get a mate in Greenville but Swayer would think something happened to her if she just disappeared like that. She might just have to tell her about Greenville and her powers now before that happens. “Swayer, don't take this seriously but what if there was another world, different from this one and there were people living in it with special abilities. Would you like to go there?” she asked carefully. “What do you mean by special abilities? Like witches or vampires?” “Yes and werewolves too. It's cool right?” Cruella asked excitedly. “Seriously? These things only exist in fantasy books. They aren't real.” Swayer scoffed. “But what if they were real but just in another world that humans can't see or enter?” Cruella asked again. “I think we should go get something to eat rather than talk about fairytale books.” Swayer said and pulled her away. Cruella wanted to tell her she wasn't joking but it's obvious Swayer won't believe until she sees proof. She'll just have to wait until she gets her wolf side or probably witch powers. She never really got to know her true family. Her mother made sure to remind her everyday that she was adopted and so she didn't know if her real parents were werewolves, witches or vampires. “Just a little longer and you'll believe me.” She muttered.Cruella tried covering her ears as the music was too loud and uncomfortable. She ended up going to the frat party with Swayer after Ethan convinced her to come. Swayer had already left her to go dancing with the others and soon she spotted Ethan at a corner with his friends, drinking and laughing. “Babe come over here!” Ethan called, signaling her with his hand. Cruella slowly walked towards them and the other guys left them alone. Ethan offered her a drink but she turned it down since she didn't like alcohol. “Come on, it's Valentine's day. Have fun, be free and let tomorrow take care of itself.” Ethan said, giving her a reassuring smile and Cruella accepted the drink from him. “Should we go upstairs?” He asked and she furrowed her brows. “Upstairs? Why?” Cruella asked innocently. The party was being held downstairs so what would they be doing upstairs? she thought. “Come on, don't tell me you don't know why. It's Valentine's night.” Ethan said with a smirk and Cruella's
Cruella felt her heart shatter into a million pieces as Ethan pushed her to the side and walked into the lecture hall with his guys. They were all laughing as they entered and she finally realized it was all planned. How could she have been blinded by love to let her guard down? This meant he never loved her from scratch and was only trying to get into her panties and now that's done, he's finally showing her his true personality. “Cruella! Cruella are you okay?” Cruella heard Swayer's voice but she wasn't ready to face anyone now. She wasn't even sure if she could still trust Swayer at this point since Ethan had stabbed her in the back. “Cruella, come on,we can just skip the morning lectures until you feel better. First we need to take down that video.” Swayer said and grabbed Cruella's hand but she yanked it off. “Don't touch me! You're all the same! You humans are so cruel! How could I have been so blind?! How could I have thought my life would change for the better here?!”
Cruella slowly opened her eyes and at first, her vision was blurry but soon became clear as crystals which was a slight surprise since she didn't have that kind of vision. She almost got lenses but didn't have time to see an ophthalmologist and now she's opening her eyes with perfect vision? She slowly raised herself up and found herself in an unfamiliar bed, in an unfamiliar room wearing unfamiliar clothes. “Where am I?” She asked and immediately squeezed her face as she felt so hungry. She's never been this hungry before and she was confused as to what was happening. Not only did she have clear vision but felt very thirsty and hungry at the same time. Her last memory was that of the heavy blocks falling on her and then she blacked out. She suddenly remembered Swayer and jumped out of the bed. If she was still alive after everything, she hoped Swayer would be too. Almost immediately, the door came open and an elderly man holding a food tray walked in. He had a shocked expressi
Cruella clenched her fist as she watched the students crying while dropping flowers on the altar made in memory of Swayer. She couldn't even imagine how her mother would feel and she felt too guilty to pay them a visit. She also feared for their safety at this point, she didn't want to go to them and ended up killing them like she had killed Gerald. She still felt guilty over his death. Even though it wasn't her fault, she felt she had taken away someone's father or brother or friend. She knew nothing about him though but he must have had a family. “She was such a good influence in this school. I'm really going to miss her.” Maeve said before placing her flower on the table and covering her face to make it seem like she was crying. Cruella felt her blood boil and she wanted to go over there and rip Maeve's spine out of her body but she had to wait for the perfect time. She didn't want them to see her yet and so she had to control her anger, just for a little while. Soon, th
As Cruella's bones kept changing positions making her vulnerable, the girls thought of it as an opportunity to run but Maeve saw it as an opportunity to get revenge. She was frightened by Cruella's sudden strength but now that she was going through whatever this is, she wanted to teach her a lesson. “Come on Maeve, let's get out of here.” One of her minions said. It's obvious the girl was fucking scared but Maeve cared less. “After all she did to you, you're just going to let her be? You're an even bigger coward.” Maeve hissed and walked closer to Cruella. The way her bones were shifting was really abnormal and it freaked the girls out but Maeve didn't care anymore. “Maeve now isn't the time for revenge. Let's fucking get out of here now.” The girl with a broken wrist begged. “She'll still come after us later. Let's end it here and now.” Maeve said and grabbed Cruella's hair. “Now you listen to me bitch. I don't know what the hell happened to you in that fire but just cause you go
The police had blocked the entrance of the building with their yellow tape to show it was now a restricted area. After Cruella left, someone tried getting into the room and since the door wasn't opening, she called for others attention and they broke down the door, shocked by the view in front of them. The girl screamed and immediately ran out of the building while the guys stared at the bodies in confusion. “What happened here?” One of them asked but no one answered him since everyone had the same question on their minds. “We should call the corps.” Another said and immediately dialed 911. “This doesn't seem human, maybe a wild animal?” Another asked and that's when they noticed the broken window. Two of them slowly walked into the room, avoiding stepping on the body parts until they got to the window. “The beast must have run out from here.” One of them said and suddenly ran out of the room. If there was a wild beast lurking around campus, then he doesn't wanna be anyw
Cruella blinked severally just to be sure she wasn't hallucinating. How could she possibly be in Greenville when she went nowhere near the borderline? She had initially planned on returning after taking care of Maeve and Ethan but now that she's finally back, she wasn't happy. “How long has it been? Two years?” She heard an unfamiliar voice and turned around to see an elderly woman. “Who are you?” She asked with a frown. The lady smiled at her and all of a sudden, she began glowing. The radiant was so bright that Cruella had to cover her eyes and when it stopped, she opened it back. Her eyes widened on seeing the young woman before her. She was clothed in a white stainless garment but it still didn't hide her perfect figure. Her hair was no longer grey like it was when she was an elderly woman but now silver and it was very long, stopping at her knees. Cruella knew she had seen this cave before when she was younger but never asked about it since she was more concerned with gett
(FOUR DECADES AGO ) “Did you hear the news?” Elsa asked Margery who was struggling to get a stain off her garment. Sheila, her elder sister who sat beside Elsa suddenly stopped washing, and raised her head. “What news could be more important than this? We have an assignment after this or have you forgotten?” Sheila asked with a frown. “Gosh clam down already sis. We are three powerful witches, we will definitely get that helux spell.” Margery said with a smile. They were in their final year in witch school and had been paired in groups of three for an assignment. They were to perform the helux spell, a very powerful spell that combines the minds and bodies of as many individuals into one. The spell was as dangerous as it was wonderful because if done wrong, the minds of the victims would be forever shattered and they might die in the process. Whoever performed the spell right would be selected as the new royal witch and sent to the palace to assist the king and queen as ordered b
