CHAPTER 93

Rosa’s voice was full of curiosity, and thanks to her it only took a few seconds that we met our gaze before he pulled me up and got on my feet.

“I was here before you came.” He coldly uttered before he left us dumbfounded. I was in a race still until he vanished from my vision.

That was crazy. Why did he have to do that? He should’ve let me fall.

“You okay Chandria?” Rosa walked closer to me as she held my hand. I forced myself to look at her and smiled.

“Y-yes.” It was almost just a whisper, and I could see clearly how worried she was in her eyes.

“You should be careful. What if Alpha Priam wasn’t here?”

“Do you want to take a break?” She asked.

I shook my head. “You said we cannot waste time.”

“Are you sure you want to do this?”

Looking away, I answered, “I don’t have any option, Rosa.”

After I recovered, I picked up all the books that fell onto the floor and put them on my head. I faced the whole body mirror this time and glanced at myself.

‘They betrayed me.’

‘They want me gone.’
