chapter 15: Love or lust?

Sonia woke up and was surprised to see Benjamin by her side. She glanced at the wall clock and realized she had been asleep for the whole day.

“Why are you here?” she asked seeing he had no intention of speaking.

“Didn't you notice that something was amiss, and why did you have a deep cut on your palm?” he asked back, not understanding how her brain functions.

“It's a minor cut and that didn't answer my question.” she said.

“I was directed here when I didn't see you in school today.” he responded before adding, “Why are you addicted to pain? Don't you also feel you deserve a life with less drama?”

“Ahhhhhhhh.” Sonia yearns dramatically. “I haven't eaten anything all day, I will appreciate a meal rather than all talks.” she said with an eye roll.

Benjamin brought out his phone as he placed a call across and a packed food was delivered.
