I delved into the deliciousness her mouth had to offer, groping her butt cheeks as I did. And then, that familiar feeling kicked in. That urge to kill.

I moved away from her, so fast, that she almost fell back.

"What's wrong?" She asked with those mesmerizing blue eyes of hers. Gone was the fierceness that had reflected in her eyes before the kiss. Present now, was the sensuality I had never seen before.

"I have to go." I said calmly, surprising myself. I didn't want to act calm. I couldn't. I didn't want to risk hurting her. And I knew was hell that the only way to do that was to act cold.

"Oh, I had forgotten. You'd rather reject me as your mate, than accept me, right?" Her tone was soft, but I read the hurt beneath. I suppressed the urge to pull her into my arms, and reassure her that all was fine.

But I knew all would never be fine. Not after what had happened at the Wolf call pack. I couldn't bring myself to tell her that she had murdered someone.
