Dad barged into the room with Alex still on his knees. His eyes were furious as they met mine.

“What have you done Alex?” He asked, rushing towards him.

“Don’t,” Damon said, one word, and it brought my dad to a complete halt.

“I am sure he has realized his mistake.” He said, turning to Alex.

He was on the floor with a battered appearance and he still had an angered look on his face towards me. I was sure he was regretting it now, this plan of his to get me in a messy situation I’d be unable to get out from was beginning to backfire.
