An escape

“Seraphim!” I shouted with my face pressed against the iron but she was gone without a glance at me.

Her eyes were clouded with nothing but loathing for me.

I knew I had made a mistake but I would not be able to correct them. Seraphim wants me to die, the look in her eyes and the words she said to be. It could not be more than that, that she seeks my death.

Knowing fully well that I, Logan Miller had nothing to do with the death of the rogue or the attempted murder of her life.

“You can not do this to me! Seraphim!”

“Keep quiet!”

I was hit on the head with a flat wood, and I kept quiet watching the receding figure of Seraphim until she was out of sight.
