94. "Why do you keep looking at me?"

Rowan and I were seated in the back of his car as his driver drove us back to his house. I kept taking glances at his face. We had not spoken much ever since we left my father's place.

I thought that he would ask me about Liam and what we talked about but Rowan did not say anything. I could not help but be worried. Was there something that be was not telling me? Or was he angry?

"Why do you keep looking at me?" Rowan finally asked me. He didn't even turn to glance at me. He was reading a file.

I sighed.

"You haven't said anything since we left my father's place. Are ..we okay?" I asked him.

Rowan finally stopped looking at the files and focused on me.

"Why are you asking me this?" He asked.

"Well I was talking with Liam and..."

"And you think that I am angry about it? I understand that he was your past. But you need to clear up whatever you have going on with him as soon as possible. We can't have him bothering you all the time, now can we?" Rowan asked me.
