Lilly’s expression remained neutral. “I don’t really feel emotions like others do. I’ve been told I’m numb or that I have a flat affect.”

Dr. Harris nodded thoughtfully. “I see. And can you recognize emotions in others? For example, can you tell if someone is happy or upset?”
