CHAPTER 120

VALERIE'S POV

"I think I will leave the pack. But where will I stay, that is my concern?"

"Are you really the one asking such a question? Then why am I your friend? Valerie, you are always welcomed in this place. That shouldn't get you worried"

"You mean to tell me that I can get my things and stay here?"

"Why not? Seems you don't know how much I value you?"

"Oh my! Thank you so much Chelsea. You're not just a friend but a sister to me"

I hugged her dearly, with the whole of my heart. I thought she meant well for me. I never knew she wanted me out of the pack so that she can have full access to Ezra and also to poison his mind against me.

I got home that day. I met Ezra in my room waiting for me. My heart was really pounding.

"Where are you coming from?"

"I went to Chelsea's house. She taught me another way to make some pasta" I said smiling. I knew that was the only lie I had to say to get my freedom.

"Pasta?"

"Yes, and I enjoyed my stay"
