     Reinhard took out a box of chewing gum.

     Maybe it's just the wrapper that looks like an ordinary box of candy. However, in reality, it wasn't candy, but a pill has given by Damien to be used in a critical condition.

     These pills are made from the fermentation of a dangerous virus mixed with various chemicals. In other words, the virus that came from the noble-level vampire they had once hunted, was fermented with other chemicals that he found in the royal lab. Taking one pill can increase the strength of the body up to two times. But the effect only lasts for ten minutes.

     Eating two of them can increase strength up to four times. As well as multiples, eating three gummies can increase body strength up to eight times.

     One pill to double the strength of the body.

     Two pills for quadruple.

     And three pills for eight times over.

     However, Damien had never allowed both Reinhard and Alexis to take more than two pills because the side effects of those pills were already terrible. You will feel like your heart is being stabbed by a thousand sharp knives for a full thirty minutes. And the pain will continue to be imagined for the next three days even though you try to forget it.

     Two pills were the maximum limit that Damien estimated that Reinhard and Alexis's bodies could withstand thanks to the training they had received from Damien himself so far.

     While more than that, Damien could not guarantee their safety.

     Reinhard ate one pill quickly. The effect was felt as soon as the pills passed through his throat. Even the top-tier vampires who were his opponents could sense a different aura emanating from Reinhardt's body.

     "What medicine did you just take?" asked the vampire.

     Not an answer he got, but a dagger strike from Reinhard that he got.

     The top-tier vampire had her eyes perfectly rounded. Reinhardt's speed and strength increased drastically.

     While continuously trying to fend off the attacks fired by Reinhardt, the top-tier vampire that he had been fighting against for the past few minutes smiled widely. "Seems like the medicine isn't something I can take lightly, is it?"

     Reinhard managed to sever the vampire's right hand. The body part that was detached from the vampire's body immediately burned and turned to ashes, while the wound on the vampire's right shoulder smoked as if it was constantly burning by a fire that would not be extinguished.

     "Hahahahahaha~ ... You are a very interesting opponent!"

     The vampire growled. His body was getting bigger every second. His eyes turned black, and black hairs grew around his swollen body.

     After a while, the top-tier vampire stopped growling. And the change that Reinhard saw made him completely dumbfounded.

    "Werewolf? What the fuck? How could that be?!" shouted Reinhard not believing what he was seeing.

     "Hahahaha!~ That's right, I can turn into a werewolf. This is thanks to my master, Vincent Von Dutch. He bestowed this power on the three of us!"

     "What do you mean?!"

     The top-tier vampire who had turned into a large black-haired wolf that stood on its two feet charged towards Reinhard. The fangs were successfully blocked by Reinhard's dagger, but the fang's attack made small cracks in Reinhard's dagger which was a mystical weapon; a weapon that is devoted to killing vampires because of the ancient curse that is in it.

     "The great lord Vincent captured a werewolf and let the three of us suck his blood. As a result, we were able to obtain such extraordinary power."

     Torrrnn~...

     Not only attack with fangs, but also claws. And the top-class vampire who had turned into a werewolf managed to rip off Reinhard's left abdomen.

     "Don't fucking around with me! There's no way a disgusting creature like you can absorb the power of a werewolf just by sucking its blood!"

     "Hahahaha~ ... Maybe you're right." said the vampire. "Since today is the last day you live before I shatter your body to pieces, I'll tell you the secret. The werewolf we sucked blood from was a special breed. In other words, he wasn't a werewolf. He was the offspring of a werewolf and a human. Lord Vincent turned him into a vampire, and at the last moment just before the boy was completely transformed, we sucked his blood dry."

     "What kind of bullshit is that?!" shouted Reinhard who was trying to attack the top-tier vampire who turned into a werewolf.

     "It's up to you whether you want to believe it or not. But, I also have to thank you guys for attacking us during a full moon like this. Because only during a full moon can we change. If it weren't for your carelessness, maybe we would have died under your mystical weapons. Hahahahaha~ ... After all, you're still stupid humans!"

     Reinhard was silent.

     The hunting schedule was entirely planned by Damien. Reinhard even had time to think, did Damien betray them?

     Impossible.

     There was no way Damien would do that.

     But, at a critical moment like this, where did Damien go?

     Did Damien betray them?

     "Now, I'm going to rip all your flesh and I'll--"

     Stabbb~...

     A blade pierced through the chest of the top-tier vampire who turned into a werewolf from behind. The blade moved upward so that it split the vampire's head into two parts.

     The vampire was burned to ashes.

     After the smoke cleared, the face of the man Reinhard had been waiting for appeared.

     It's Damien.

     Damien killed the top-tier vampire who had turned into a werewolf with the 'one-slash-sword' he was holding.

     Reinhard walked over to Damien and immediately grabbed Damien's clothes. His eyes showed anger at Damien. "Did you know that those disgusting vampires can turn into werewolves and their power peaks at the full moon like now? Did you really plan all this?! Are you trying to betray us in the end?!"

     "Yes. I deliberately chose this time because I realized what Vincent was doing. But it was still too ambiguous. And because the vampire's mouth was talking too much, it finally became clear."

     Thus, Damien had betrayed neither Reinhard nor Alexis.

     He was just trying to find information about the strange things done by Vincent.

     But that fact still could not calm Reinhardt's anger at all.

     "Do you realize that because of your plan, Alexis and I are in danger? I even ate one of your damn pills!"

     Damien let go of Reinhard's grip on his clothes. "Calm down. I expected this to happen. You'll be fine anyway, I know your body is strong enough to deal with the side effects of the pill. After all, you only ate one, and Alexis hasn't eaten one at all. Because I've got the information I need, there's no need to holding back anymore."

     Damien put a hand on Reinhard's shoulder. "Get some rest. After I save Alexis, you two wait for me in the car. From here on out, I'll take care of the rest. You've worked hard."

     Reinhard clenched his hands into fists. He was still annoyed at Damien for using them as bait.

     But his anger was even greater because Alexis had been hurt by that.

     Reinhard himself didn't understand why he was upset for Alexis's sake.

     Reinhard just didn't like seeing Alexis get hurt.

     After explaining it to Reinhard, Damien jumped from the top of the high cliff and dashed towards where Alexis was, leaving Reinhardt in his rage.

     The hunt for Vincent Von Dutch, one of the noble class vampires on the same level as Damien in the kingdom continues.
