THE ACCIDENT

Reynolds led Amy back into the house with his grandma following behind. "Let me get the first aid box" his grandma said and disappeared. Reynolds held Amy's hand, using his finger to apply pressure on the bleeding site.

"Your grandma isn't here, you can let go of me now, don't worry about the couples show". Amy said and tried to wrench her hand free from his grasp but he wouldn't budge. "Keep still," Reynolds muttered through his teeth. Amy looked at him and seeing the seriousness in his eyes, she decided to keep still.

His grandma hurried back with an old, white first aid box, the red cross already fading off it. She opened it and took out an antiseptic, cleaned the wound with it and covered it with a band aid. "There you go, nice and clean". She said and took the box back.
