I tend to prefer isekai where the characters have to grind a bit to get the things they want. It actually kind of bugs me when MC’s in other isekai are just incredibly OP for no reason, and without having had to work for it. IMO, the effort we put into our personal growth is what makes us powerful. We can’t ever forget that, not even when we escape to another world.
