Mad. She was downright mad, and her idea?

It was also unequivocally insane.

Although, I could totally fathom her rationale behind the idea, and wanting to trade places with Samantha, considering all the collateral damage that she had been through.

Still, Kaitlyn's idea was completely ludicrous. While she was protecting Sam, she also was placing herself in total inherent risk. The damage that could have been wrought from this—we wouldn't know, until after the fact.
