Day 27
Thirty three days to go. Time was ticking faster than usual, rubbing the number inscribed on her palm, her ringing phone snapped her out of her thoughts. She didn’t want to pick the call—there was no point, she already knew who it was. Ever since she left her house that day, Eleanor hadn’t stopped calling her. She knew she had to speak to her at some point, but she still needed
Self-careSelf-care forms a significant part of the model's overall wellness routine. Raven had previously been struggling with debilitating anxiety, and her regular meditations—her quiet time, and therapy helped to improve her mental health. She’d been suffering for years, her past hunted her. After leaving everything related to her family behind, she shut herself from them. She hadn’t been able to forgive herself, there was no intimate friend to vent her anger to. Raven was silently hurting, muttering a thank you to the voice for br
HomeHome was suppose to be a place of escape, comfort, protection, love, stability, and permanence—even solitude. Home was peaceful when she was a child, at least from what she could remember. It was the day. The day of moving. Back to the mansion. The mansion was a big part of her life, and moving in agai
Streaming tears cleansed her red cheeks. Few droplets remained, forgetting their way as the path was swept from beneath them, consequently blurring Raven’s vision, with waves of sadness only the broken encounter. The sadness drained through her spines rather than skating over her skin. It travelled through every cell to reach the ground. Next thing she knew she was there, at the front gate, watching France leave in his car. She tried to yell, but her words failed her, they came out weak and cracked. Biting her lip to stop the tears from increasing. Jace was standing infront of her, watching her every move sternly, as though he knew what was going on.After that. She was alone, angry and devastated. Her heart felt butchered, and weak.****The next day wasn’t exactly rosy, Raven retired in bed, none of the maids or her sisters bothered to check up on her, not that she was expecting it. She liked that way. To be alone and think things through. Recalling her dream the previous night, R
PRESENT “I saw her.” The woman in black muttered, and the detective changed his position.“How can I be certain you are telling the truth?” The detective raised his eyebrows, waiting for her reply.“Because you have no other choice than to believe me,” the woman stated, making the detective wrinkle his forehead. He didn’t trust the woman,”besides, I have no reason to lie. There isn’t a reward money.” The detective stood up from the chair, pacing round the room, with his hands behind.“Where did you see the model?” His voice, hoarse and firm. The lady paused for a moment, staring at nothing in particular. “Riverside California.”The detective took his seat after the lady spoke, he knew that was the place Raven grew up, before moving to LA.What was she doing over there? It was all a mystery.“I went there to visit a childhood friend.” The woman started,”It was in the evening. I was taking a stroll, then a lady bumped into me. I couldn’t really see her face, but I’m certain it was the
She looked better—stronger—as she sat in a rocking chair, holding her camera and talking to Eleanor, who'd pulled one of the visitor's chairs up close. Raven took a quick glance at the number inscribed on her palm, it was her thirty seventh day in the past. Raven couldn't help but think about how lucky she was, she felt guilty Sarah had be involved. After she recovered, Raven didn't hear from her again. She figured she had been threatened, or she was too scared to speak due to the crash. That was exactly what the person wanted, to scare them off. Raven was perplexed that she wasn't able to get any information from Sarah. She understood her perfectly, but at the same time, it was painful. There was still a little pain on Raven's arm, but she was close to full recovery. Her body had to stay fresh. After learning some car accident injuries do not ever fully heal, she promised to reduce her speed whenever she drove.Veronica was still in jail, it was getting harder to get her out, and he
Raven began her search for Fred’s mysterious box. Striding to the room, she walked as gently as possibly. Watching out for anyone that passed through the hallway. Her legs carried her as fast as possible. Her heart skipping, the room finally came into view. It looked exactly the same way it was the last time she broke in. The bed was organized, but some of Veronica’s things were on the floor. As though someone had entered the room.It was strange that she couldn’t remember where her father had kept the box. Raven went through Fred’s like if clothes. They were still there, she grabbed one of his shirt, and pulled it close to her.Still nothing, she had checked every surface, and every corner. Retiring on the bed, Raven decided to open her mind and think. What was she missing?Has she sat still, the sound of someone footsteps snapped her out of her thoughts. Someone was running.Raven wondered what it was all about and gently left the room. Promising to come back, she strode to the livi
The party was a last minute plan, Raven was stressed enough. It was just a family gathering. So, it wasn’t a lot to plan out. Tessa loved birthday, so Raven wanted it to be over the top even though it was just going to be them in the house. She wanted it to be something that would remind her of her youthful age.Raven installed a flower bomb for Tessa, she learnt it from a diy video. The birthday candles was impressive enough, and Raven added a touch of whimsy using Tessa’s favorite cookie.Louis helped to order flowers, she transformed a selection of simple supermarket flowers into an inexpensive—but gorgeous—masterpiece.Pastels weren’t left out, they were lovely, and soft pinks, but Raven chose a bold color. It was supposed to be a vibrant, no-holds-barred party.Louis also dressed up standard balloons by filling them with confetti for a pop of colorful birthday party décor.Aunt May had taken Tessa out to distract her. Rose and the two maids helped with the decorations. They work
It was finally the day Raven had been looking forward to. Her very first date with France. It was extremely weird whenever she remembered his status in reality, her chauffeur. She felt like an actual star from a Hollywood movie. Although first dates tend to be the most exciting, but this one felt different. Finding the perfect dress was difficult. She’d been on many dates, she tried not to think about them. There was always a pressure of wanting to make a good first impression, and the anxiety it causes over what to wear was mentally draining.Raven figured that the key to pulling off the date was to wear something that’d strike a balance, polished and relaxed. Her aim was a lovely look that’s both feminine and chic. Something dressy but not uptight to send off all the right signals.“Raven!” Came Louis’s voice, her eyes sparkled as she saw her little sister.“You look extremely beautiful. France is gonna fall in love twice,” she commented, and Raven gave a gentle smile. “He’s here.”
__Raven’s pov__I almost fell from shock. My head swam and my ears buzzed as those words rhyme back and forth inside my head. I couldn't believe my ears, he loves me, Zayn loves me.Was I so stupid realize it? I stood still, trying to process what had happened.
_Raven’s pov_Once again, I was back to reality.I still haven’t told anyone about my trance, it was strange. Simply something I can’t seem to place my finger on.
''Raven!” An annoying voice awakened me from my slumber.Yawning, I opened my eyes slowly. Flinching after realizing my head was on Zayn's shoulder, we were holding hands and my body was covered with a blanket.I was extremely embarrassed, I quickly released my hand from Zayn's. Checking his shirt to verify I didn't droll on him.
*Raven’s pov*The strange feeling happened again, a flash of the other dimension. It was getting more frequent. Shoving the thought out of my head, I stared blankly at Zayn.
............. Zayn's pov...............It wasn’t difficult getting Mr.Snape to help arrange sitting next to Raven. But it worked perfectly.
*Raven’s pov*''I love you Raven. I lied to you, I've always loved you,” Zayn moved close to me.''Why did you lie to me then?” Tears trickled down m

_Zayn's pov_She loves me was all I could say to my self.Raven Steel loves me, but I messed up, I lied to her. I was mad at myself but there was nothing I could do.
I couldn't believe Zayn Anderson was standing right in front of me.Why was he here? Obviously to see me, but I couldn't believe he cared.I was totally numb, my throbbing heart seemed to be the only thing I could hear at that moment.''Yeah, Zayn saw the way you reacted in the Cafeteria yesterday, so he asked me what was going
