Chapter 70

Scarlett stood by the doorway and regarded Lan for a moment. Lan was still deep in sleep and was pulling the pillow so close to himself. Maybe he later discovered that Scarlett wasn't beside him or he hasn't, that she doesn't know.

But his action brought a smile to her lips.

Scarlett moved closer and climbed onto the bed, beside him. She arched her left hand and used it to support her head as she continued to look at the handsome face of her mate. A soft smile danced on her radiant face as she stared at his pale sleepy face.

There was a slight smile on his face as he pulled harder at the pillow.

Scarlett chuckled slightly. "You are so cute," she pouted

She contemplated pulling the pillow away and replacing its position but decided against it quickly. She still wanted to continue watching him.

Scarlett pulled at his cheek slowly and Lan murmured something underneath his breath.
