Alec

I was so focused on the group text, not aware of the person in front of me as I made a turn around the corner for class. I stumbled into a small figure. The scent let me know it was a girl and she almost fell back. I caught her in time but dropped my phone in the process. When I looked up to see who it was, in my arms, she took my breath away.

River’s green eyes were staring right back at me. “Sorry, I didn’t see you there,” I said, still holding her with an arm around her waist and the other on her back. Electricity jolted through my body. She squirmed in my arms and pushed away slowly, “It’s okay. I wasn’t paying attention either.”

Having her this way, reminded me of the nights I held her in my arms while I was inside her. F*ck! I shook my head. Her voice was so angelic. “Are you okay?”

“Yes,” She responded.

She straightened her clothes and I picked up my phone from the floor. Luckily the screen didn’t crack. I peered back at her beautiful face and reflected on my Mother’s advi

  • RIVER   Chapter 26

RiverSheesh! I can’t explain this indescribable feeling inside. Again I ask, is it possible to like two people at the same time? I mean am I going crazy here? Am I wrong for feeling this way? Was this cheating on Zach?Erica seemed to be on cloud nine. She zoned out as she watched Jaylen leave and he was the same, and I’d hoped this would be the beginning of something for the both of them.Zach on the other hand, couldn’t stop glaring at me. He didn’t have to voice out his thoughts…I already knew what he was thinking, but his glare was making me nervous. He acts like I planned these sudden encounters on purpose. He didn’t take it well when I told him about the run-in with Alec in the hallway leaving the kissing me on the cheek part out.Erica was pissed, telling me I shouldn’t have said anything to him, but it wasn’t like me to withhold things from him.I wanted our relationship to be based on truth and trust. I wouldn’t do anything to hurt him or throw it all away for another guy. I

  • RIVER   Chapter 27

River“I know, I know. Well first of all, have you ever given a guy a BJ?” My face turned beet red when she looked back at me with surprise. She cackled and I was a few seconds away from getting up and walking out the door. This woman can’t take anything seriously, but I still love herI blew my cheeks out in frustration, “Okay, okay. I’m sorry and to answer your question, Riv’s, I haven’t but…but, I’ve heard girls talk about it and Jackie too. I have yet to give a BJ.”I gaped, “B-but you told me how to…you know, stroke a guy’s thing last time. So I assumed that you’ve done this before!” I whispered-yelled stammering. She laughed again and I almost reached out to pinch her nipple and make her scream if she didn’t stop. “Yeah, but that’s because I heard that too. You asked, I answered. Now, you asked if I’ve done that and I’m being honest with you. It doesn’t mean I haven’t heard about it. Do you want to know the details or nah!?”I palmed my face, “Yes, Erica, I do. Now be a duchess a

  • RIVER   Chapter 28

AlecI dropped my girlfriend off at the dorms. She sensed the shift in my attitude and the truth is that I didn’t want to be with her for the rest of the evening. I wanted to be left alone. I didn’t even kiss her goodbye.Seeing River today brought forth those undeniable feelings, the ones I tried hiding away. Michelle shouldn’t have insisted on seeing her bike. She complicated things for me.I have never and I mean never felt this confused in my life as I did today and I’m upset at myself for it. She seems to be doing fine and I wish I knew what her secret was, but would I like the answer? After brooding and contemplating, I’ve concluded that I need to leave. If I don’t get drafted this year, I will transfer to another University and move on with my life.I don’t belong here anymore. If I don’t have her, there’s nothing left for me to do here. Watching her with him is excruciating and I feel like it’s slowly consuming me.“You okay?” Jaylen asked, concerned etched on his face. I met

  • RIVER   Chapter 29

River*BANG BANG BANG*I almost dropped my cup of coffee when I heard someone banging on my door. “Geez! I’m coming!” I yelled. It had to be Zach, who else would be that crazy to knock on my door like that this early? The second I opened the door, I was greeted with a huge bouquet of blushed pink roses and a huge box of Ferrero chocolates, my favorite.“Oh!” I gasped in surprise. “Happy Valentine’s Day, hermosa!” Zach said in a deep panty-dropping tone. He learned to say gorgeous in Spanish.“Zach,” I whispered.“I got the biggest bouquet I could find and paid a guy extra for that box of chocolates, your favorite. It was the last one, eat them wisely.” He winked and chuckled. This guy knew the way to my stomach. My heart did a small little flip. I’ve gotten flowers from my Dad and maybe every once in a while flowers from Zach, but in a friendly way in the past Valentine’s Holidays, only because I had no one. I hugged him and pulled him inside. If I knew he would be coming this early,

  • RIVER   Chapter 30

RiverThat evening, we ended up at his place. Kissing until we fell asleep, holding each other. I love him and that was the truth, but I also felt things I could never explain or understand for Alec.February was finally over with and March was no different, flying through. During spring break we ended up going to Destin, Florida. We were thinking about going to New Braunfels, Comal River but ended up at the Emerald Coast. It was beautiful! We ended up sharing and renting a home.Jason invited a cute blonde as his plus one, Delilah ended up going back to her hometown to see her family, and Erica invited Jaylen.Erica told me that Alec went home to spend time with his parents. It made me happy that he left to build memories with them. He still had them both and from what I’ve heard, they made up.The paparazzi were brutal. His family name was everywhere in the magazines and TMZ for quite a while. Our spring break was very well spent. Bonfires, music, dancing, playing volleyball, swimmi

  • RIVER   Chapter 31

RiverI was watching the rounds at home. Zach and Jason were out and about. I told him this is something I do with my Dad and he knew it. Dad was texting me and sending me pictures of what he was snacking on. Abby made him a delicious spinach dip and I was sitting on my couch eating some Rocky Road ice cream when the 12th pick was up, then it happened. His name was called out, and selected by the Rams. He’s going back to California. My heart rammed through my chest. Erica called me a few minutes after the selection. I could hear them all cheering. Then I became blue…I was no longer going to see him here. This was it.I was sad yet happy for him, but that also meant a new start for Zach and I. Alec would no longer torment me with his existence.I picked up my phone and wanted to send him a text. I was conflicted with my own emotions and thoughts until I finally said, “It would be a friendly act to congratulate him.” I picked up my phone and began to type.Me: Alec, congratulations! I

  • RIVER   Chapter 32

RiverI never told Erica about Alec saying goodbye. I wanted to keep that to myself and for good reason. She told me Jaylen was sad but happy for his friend. She’s been staying at his place for the past two weeks and things have been getting serious between them.I loved it. I hoped so much for them. He’s a great guy and my girl is awesome.A week had gone by since I last saw him and my heart still secretly hurt after that sad farewell. I don’t think there will ever be an explanation for this feeling. I anticipate as the days go by that being with Zach can change all of that. I had already prepared my luggage for our special road trip. Zach and I rented a place between Silvertone and Frisco, Colorado near the Dillon Reservoir. I was excited and anxious at the same time.Zach read me like a book and knew that something felt off, but I played it out blaming my hormones. I wasn’t lying, my period was going to start sometime next week and Zach was dreading it.Tonight we were going to the

  • RIVER   Chapter 33

Third Person POV - Day 1She rode her black beauty far away from it all. Her music was loud in her helmet. There would be no one to stop her. After saying goodbye to the man she fell in love with, she thought Zach would be forever, but instead, he sliced her heart into tiny pieces. There was no healing from that. Not now, not in a while. Before she left Turner Falls, she changed into her gear and set to keep going North to the mountains. Hours had gone by and it was getting late. She had already passed up the Kansas state line and was close to Wichita when she finally decided to stop and rest. She got food and booked a room close to the main road. Her Father was on her mind. He may not be aware of what happened but she’s always had a close relationship with him. However, right now, all she needed was to eat and get some rest for the long ride tomorrow that waited for her. It’s not easy sitting on a motorcycle for that long. Meanwhile…***Flashback to last night back at campus***Afte

  • RIVER   Epilogue - Part 2

“We’re pregnant!” I yelled out at our family and friends, and they all gaped. Before they reacted to the news, I shouted out, “Wait! Wait, that’s not all!” Alec chuckled. I glanced over to him and mouthed, ‘Ready?’He nodded. I pulled a onesie that said ‘Not One’ and then two seconds later, Alec pulled the next onesie saying ‘But Two’.Everyone roared. The house was filled with shock, cheering, and laughter. I loved their expressions but most importantly the way our parents cried. We had invited everyone to a get together at our home. We threatened every one of them to save the date and make an appearance, especially Jason and Samantha.Guess what though? Jason finally proposed. Sammy showed us her engagement ring and we all screamed. We were jumping with joy for them both. I hugged my buddy, almost bringing him to the ground.“J, I’m so happy you finally asked! I can’t wait!” I spoke through tears. I was truly happy for him because I was scared he would lose her. They’ve been together

  • RIVER   Epilogue - Part 1

Three years later.“What did you bring for lunch, bestie?” Zach said buoyantly.I rolled my eyes, “Stop eyeing my food, Z. I’m not giving you half of my lunch. You always do this to me, you eat yours and then steal from mine.” I said in an annoying tone.“Come on! Steal? Wrong choice of words don’t you think, Riv’s? Sharing is caring and what are best friends for…you know I love your food, babe.” He retorted, pouting and giving me puppy eyes.“Well, then it’s a good thing I brought you a separate container of spaghetti.” I grinned, wiggling my eyebrows.“You do love me!!! I knew it! Thank you, Rivs. You need to show D how to make your famous spaghetti. But say it without her knowing I asked you to. Baby girl gets butt hurt when she burns something or the food comes out bland. So you can imagine how she’ll get if she finds out I don’t like her spaghetti.” He frowned and blew out his cheeks.Delilah and Zach got engaged the year we graduated. They’re now living on the outskirts of Houst

  • RIVER   Chapter 54

RiverFive months later.I don’t know where to start. So much has happened since the day we returned to his home from Las Vegas.First, let me start by saying I’m a big sister y’all! My baby brother, Tristan, is finally here. He was born on March 7th and he’s my Dad’s twin with blue eyes and light brown hair. Baby boy is adorable! My friends, Alec’s parents, and some of Abby’s relatives and friends were there to welcome him to this world. It was the best day ever.Sorry, I got a little too excited. Back to when we returned to his home from Vegas. The time came to say goodbye and it was really sad. Even though we were going to see each other in a week or two, depending on how long the transfer process and packing took, it was still difficult for both of us.When he dropped me off at the airport, it was the longest agonizing moment of our lives. Yes, I'm being dramatic. We shared a lot of kisses, making sure not to do it in the public eye. Let’s just say…I’m glad they had family restroom

  • RIVER   Chapter 53

AlecMine. All mine. I would have her for the rest of my life until my last dying breath. My mouth went dry the moment I saw her in the sexy lingerie. Her tits out, the stockings on those sexy legs, the thong, the whole outfit had me rock hard. Then she began to dance and the song she chose almost had me combusting. Run her like a river?! Oh, I was going to do that and more. My hands weren’t holy though, I’ve made her sin and I have no regrets. She protested and threw a fit when I carried her to our room saying she wasn’t done. I ain’t gonna lie, when she ordered me to go in the room it was sexy as heck and I loved that side of her, but I’m dominant and the Alpha in me couldn’t control himself anymore.I could practically smell her arousal and saw how her p*ssy glistened when she waved it in my face. How can she expect the beast in me to sit there and watch her bounce and sway her delicious a*s on my shaft?I threw her on the bed, “Alec!” She giggled. I began to unbutton my shirt when

  • RIVER   Chapter 52

RiverWe made it to Palazzo Resort. The security there guided Alec and me to LAVO, an Italian restaurant and nightclub located inside. The moment we walked in, everyone was there waiting for us. Even some of Brice’s closest friends and Jaylen’s parents.Brice rented the entire restaurant slash club for us. It had a spacious dance floor and looked sleek and modern, with a mix of vintage and contemporary elements. I loved it!Xander was grinning at me the entire time and I just had to ask why.“Why are you smiling at me like that? Do you find me funny or something?” He cackled.“Nope, I just knew that Alec would finally get his girl in the end. All he needed to do was be patient. You were never Zach’s and I’m so glad that you discovered that yourself. By the way, sorry to hear about your accident.” I was in awe. My lips parted to his reply.“What nonsense are you telling my wife, Xander?” Alec said, hugging me from behind, and kissing my neck.“Nonsense? Quite the opposite, Alec. I’m onl

  • RIVER   Chapter 51

River“Okay, we’re all here! What’s going on, River? I mean don’t get us wrong, we are super happy that you got your man and y’all are together, but why did ya want all of us together here on iChat?” Erica questioned.I sent them a group message earlier to get on iChat. It was late, but this news couldn’t wait. I mean, I could have done a video chat, but I wanted a perfect view of their faces. Front row tickets of their genuine expressions when they heard the news of us getting married.Alec came up behind me, wrapped his arm around my neck, and kissed my cheek. “Hey guys, thanks for getting on here on short notice. I appreciate you guys making time for this sudden meeting. I’m sure y’all were busy but we have some news we want to share with you.”Zach cocked an eyebrow. Jaylen looked puzzled. Jason was waiting for us to speak. Erica and Delilah were both wearing a smile.“Okay, spill,” Erica said impatiently.I lifted my hand to the camera and showed them the ring. Everyone's jaw drop

  • RIVER   Chapter 50

RiverI can’t believe I’m here! The most magical place a girl could be at, a dream come true– Disneyland. I should add Disney World to my bucket list after this. Any girl who’s watched all the Disney princess movies should understand this feeling inside. Since I was a little girl, my all-time favorite movie was Ariel, but I also loved Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella.“Ouch!” I squealed. I pinched myself on the arm as I stood in front of Cinderella’s castle, earning me a puzzled look from Alec. He shook his head and I rolled my eyes, he wouldn’t understand. We came early in the morning to walk through at least two parks. I wore this cute dusty pink oversized jogger set. Alec kept trying to cover my stomach from guys who couldn’t keep their eyes off me. My cropped matching color hoodie was too short for his liking. I mean I don’t understand what the big deal was, I looked cute and it was perfect for the weather.I even wore my white Adidas with matching color stripes to my outfit. My h

  • RIVER   Chapter 49

AlecRiver and I spent the whole weekend together, sightseeing. I mostly wanted her to see the beach and take her to the Santa Monica pier. We also spent two nights alone in a hotel, indulging in our bodies and orgasms. It all felt like a dream, a dream I was scared to wake up from. The thought of her returning home was heavy on my heart. How would I survive the next few months without her? That was going to be hard.At night while she slept in my arms, I thought about the comment I made outside the restaurant at the guy snapping our picture. I told him she would be my wife and I meant that. Then it hit me! What if I make her my wife? What if before she leaves, we go to Las Vegas and get married? I mean we didn’t have to go far, a courthouse would do, but it would be perfect. There was no doubt in every inch of my body that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her.She was a done deal, the one who captured and owned my heart. I knew she felt the same way, so why wait? We are not
