Aliaria POV

I was wide awake before the sun could cast its head on the pack. Working out my lower body and preparing for the widely acclaimed tournament.

I wasn't doing this because I was Kieran's champion. All I wanted to do was make it to the final and win to regain my freedom from his hand.

Bonillo's sword lay beside my bed and I figured I could use it to train and believing the training centre would be open this morning to try it out.

I grabbed the sword and walked out of the room. On my way to the training centre, many of the pack soldiers were returning from Patrol duties and some of the maids were making meals for all pack officials.

I arrived at the training centre to see someone had beaten me to a spot. I stopped and watched the stranger train himself with the use of sword.

His skill was genuinely the best I have ever seen. The way he slide through the ground and preparing to thrust the sword was going to be dangerous in the tournament, especially against top opponents.

Kaidon POV“What is the meaning of the madness that happened out there at the arena?” I asked Kieran, who sat at the throne next to Willow.“Why are you always agitated? Can’t you see that none of the issues that happened out there is our fault? The rogues chose to attack your mate and there was nothing we could do about it” Kieran explained.I turned around to Willow and noticed that she has been quiet since I arrived, which is usually not the case.“And you, what role did you have to play in this?” I asked turning to her direction.“Watch the way you talk to my mate Kaidon” Kieran said with a stern warning, but I did not care for his words.“You were not so careful in letting those beast out of the cage” I stepped further to the throne. “This is my last warning to you Kieran. If anything happens to my mate in this tournament again, I am going to make sure I tear down Blood moon pack” I warned and turned around to leave.“Have you ever thought about what could be happening in your pa

My moment with Kaidon could not last long because of the information that has now spread like wild fire across the pack mansion.“What happened to him?” I asked as we took the last route leading to the hall.“His death is a very strange one. People think he wasn’t exactly killed with a sword or even with wolf claws.”By the time we arrived at the hall, all the other champions were already gathered and everyone was discussing about the situation at hand. The door suddenly opened and Kieran walked inside with his escort trailing right behind him. Other Alphas also walked inside the room with their soldiers as well.Kaidon was the last to walk inside and our eyes met almost immediately.“Hey” I turned around and Dawson was beside me. His arm was bandaged and I felt sorry for him.“How is your arm?” I asked.“Getting better. The rogues really bite deep into my skin” He said, trying

Aliaria PovI closed my eyes and took a deep breath as we walked into the hall. My memory was still foggy from the strange dream I had in the night. Being looked up to as the hope of the werewolf kingdom was a huge task, especially against Willow and Kieran who have become really too powerful to be handled.“Is there a reason why Kieran decided to summon all champions to the hall?” I asked Borillo, who was walking beside.“Alpha Kieran is a leader with many mysteries. No one can tell what is going through his mind” He said as we emerged at the entrance.A lot of the fighters and competitors were lurking around the place. My eyes landed on Killbird and a smile came across my face remembering how Dawson had beat the hell out of him in style.Speaking of Dawson, he was standing across the room all by himself observing the people. I walked up to him and sat beside him in silence and together we watched everyone engage in different conversation with one another.“Kaidon asked me to be h

Aliaria’s Point of ViewI was so happy. Things could not have been better than they are right now. I tuck behind a loose strand of hair that has been disturbing me recently. One day, I’ll just do the giant chop and go bald. I could do it now but dad would never allow it. The only thing I had right now that I knew he definitely wouldn’t approve of was the piercing I had gotten right above my navel. It was cute and I wanted it. Sophie didn’t even have to talk me into it. Typically, she’s the one that makes bad decisions but I just couldn’t resist it. Well, dad would never notice either ways. I missed him though. He has always been there all my life but staying at this camp for almost a year without seeing him was torture. If it was this bad for me, I wondered how bad it would be for dad. He liked to prove he was tough and Macho and dominant as the alpha but really, he was the hugest teddy bear to exist. I look up from the book I was reading on history of werewolves and blah. I loved rea

Aliaria’s Point of ViewI was officially freaking out. I think I looked nice enough but I couldn’t help the feelings. I’m so nervous. Who would have thought that me, Aliaria was the one being nervous about a boy? I was dressed up in a beautiful black simple off shoulder dinner gown with sparkles. I accesorized mildly so it wouldn’t look like I tried too much. I’m way too chill for that. Now, if only my heart would listen to my head then we wouldn’t be having these issues. I had done light makeup for the occasion. I didn’t think a full face would be so suitable. It’s just dinner. My stomach is in knots. I’m no even sure I would be able to eat anything. I just kept thinking that this was a prank. It would probably be like Carrie and I will burn everyone down. I’m just being ridiculous. Kai texted minutes ago that he would soon come get me. Sophie and Charlotte finally left to their room after making mine a mess. It’s just a dance and we’re at camp so there is no magical coming down th

Aliaria’s Point of ViewI looked at my children. They were my pride and life. I know I’m not supposed to say so because the pack is supposed to come first but I couldn’t help that it is hardwired into my genes to be a protective mother. Its even worse for werewolves than humans. I do not joke with my kids and I never will. They are such a vital part of my life. I look at Alyssa, my only daughter. She looks so much like me and generally, is like me. Right now, she is a preteen and all she cares about is Sephora and boys. Every time she talks about boys, I’m reminded of my first heartbreak, Kaidon Blackwood. It was so long ago but I was pretty hurt them. Dada was scared that I was going into depression. The annoying thing is that, he wasn’t my mate. He was my soulmate but somehow, even the moon Goddess knew that weren’t bound to ne together. Well, that was just a development arc I needed. Without that happening, I would never have found my true mate, Ethan Wilder. If I didn’t find him,

Kaidon POVBy the time morning came, I was told by one of the soldiers that Kieran was hosting a meeting. I was dressed in my royal robe as I walked towards the chamber. My mind was still foggy from the event that has happened last night. I would have chosen to ignore whatever mind game that Kieran was playing because in the end, he is never going to be my equal.Kieran arrived at the chambers moment after I had settled down. “Thank you for honoring my invite this very morning. Today was supposed to be the start of a very important contest, but we have had a few hitches which is why the contest is postponed till three days time”“More time delay for your rigging huh?” We all turned to Alpha Gideon who had spoken.“Alpha Gideon, the fact that this contest was pulled together to promote peace across all the packs should be the clue that your empty brains need to understand that I am always going to respect everyone” Kieran snapped back.“Lets keep pretending like we don’t know you are

Aliaria Pov“I figured that you did not want to see me since you came to the pack” I said the moment I reached the podium.“I am really sorry for not coming to see you earlier. We both know that Kieran and Willow are very evil people. Who knows what is going through their mind next” I agreed with what he was saying because I hated the both of them. Acting as their filthy champion and not given freedom can be hurtful and I was genuinely hurt. “How have you been doing?” He asked in a calmer manner.“A lot of things have been happening to me lately” I said, casting my mind back to the dream I had last night.“Did you receive the wizard gift that I asked Dawson to give to you?” He asked.I pulled off the piece of cloth hiding the necklace and showed it off to him. Kaidon nodded with satisfaction on his face.“I would have done the necessary thing by pulling you out of there, but it would mean waging war against Kieran and we both know that he can influence the rest of the Alpha to go t

Aliaria , the Hybrid Werewolf, coming to save the kingdom from the evils that you have placed in it.” She stared at the man once more and then back to the king, seated on the throne.“Ichabod, you are have done the abominable and you should be punished for that…” One of the men once again said, but was held back by the king, whose eyes were fully vested on her.“Aliaria , the liberator of my kingdom…” He stepped down from his throne and made his way towards Aliaria, who simply moved back. “…You really think you can become king huh?” Aliaria looked at his eyes and she could see the blue lenses.“Are you scared my king?’ She turned once more to stare at Ichabod. This time, she took a cursory look at the man. She was certain she had seen this man before now, but she couldn’t exactly remember where she had seen hi
