He continued hitting Kai repeatedly, breaking his nose further and further. You would think I would be used to so much blood by now but I wasn’t. With each blow, my heart sank lower and lower. I don’t know how but I was hoping for a miracle now. Maybe he would discover a strength he didn’t know about if he just dug deeper. Aliaria’s Point of View The speed at which I fell to the mat covered floor was even shocking to me. It all happened so fast that I barely even registered the pain. I don’t know why I even had the idea that she may go easy on me or at least not throw her whole life and being into defeating me . I see the entire plan now. She had planned to butter me up so I would most likely go soft on her. I recover and pounce back on my feet. I could see the satisfaction on her face and I knew that I was done for. I decided to go on the defensive end and I tried my best to block her jabs. She was coming at me really fast. I was working based on pure adrenaline and no skill. I just needed her to tire out so I can switch to the offense. For the first few minutes, she still looked like she could keep going and I was already getting tired myself. However, I felt encouraged when I saw that she has began to slow down. I just needed to win this. If I did, it may put Kai and I at the top of the scoreboard.

Immediately the girls dropped that news, I was so nervous and excited that I tried to get up from my bed. That was a terrible idea. Aliaria’s Point of View That had grabbed my attention. To some extent, I hoped he was knocking on the door to grovel outside and beg for me to open up and listen to him. A small delusional part of me had wanted him to sit outside the door all night but I was being foolish. This was way more important. I hope it wasn’t a way to get me to relent. However, I knew it was more serious than that though. I knew the organizers were capable of doing something like that. If I have learned anything in these games, it’s that you can’t trust anyone. The ones eliminated are also capable of doing an all out war. After all, there were high emotions after the first games, wounded egos and with the shock of the eliminations too, anyone would be incensed. Taking a deep breath, I open the door.
