We spend the whole day waiting for Maggie to show up, but she doesn't. Now we need to come up with a new plan.

“Lucian, we need to do something else, waiting around wouldn't bear any fruits.” I say to him as he dismisses everyone so that we can go for dinner.

“You are right, my love. I just hope she shows up, you know how unpredictable they are.” Lucian says to me.

"Can we head to dinner with the others?” I ask.

“I know my beautiful mate has something in mind.” He teases, winking.

“You are so naughty, love. But yes, I do.” I say, smiling sheepishly. But my smile doesn’t seem natural.

“What do you have in mind?” He asks.

“I was thinking you can go get our food, then we can have it in our room.” I say hoping he would agree.

“Our room right, what room? You mean my room?” He teases. He has never had a sense of humour though. He tries though.
