Chapter nine (9)

It's been two weeks now since the outburst of Jasper at the hospital. Michelle was also cleaning and taking care of her brother and helping him with the stretching of his body...

The doctor made several check up and assessment on Jasper daily just to make sure that his doing good and improving but for that past two weeks that the doctors have been doing check ups on him, they couldn't find one single virus, disease or any particle in his body and his blood was as if it was cleansed....

The doctor were surprised and told Michelle about it but she didn't see anything wrong with that instead she was happy for her brother that it's a sign, that his healthy! The doctors too then wade it off and just check on him to see if he is still breathing...

It was a Monday morning, Jasper friends came to the hospital on their way to school because soon they would be writing their final exam. As soon as they got the hospital, they all came down from their various car and entered the hospital, on getting to Jasper room, they didn't meet Michelle but find Jasper all alone, so they sat down there for a while and Michelle did later showed up....

"Hey! Good morning" Michelle said upon sighting them in the room

"Morning mich!!" The guys answered chorusly 

" I just had to clean up. You guys are here so early?" Michelle asked with a questioning look

"Yeah, exam is approaching so, we should attend class more often now" prem answered sluggishly

" So we're heading to school!" Richie said

" And we decided to say hi!" Nelly added

" Oh okay, great. Thanks for the support" Michelle reply with a smile

" You are welcome" Kay said gazing at Michelle

So the guys talked to Michelle for some time and after some minutes they all stood up and was ready to go. Michelle was grateful and thank them alot... Then a voice came in ...

"If I was in their position I would have done same" Jasper said weakly while opening his eyes

Michelle and other guys heard the voice but thought maybe they were hallucinating, they all stare at each other and was looking blankly at one another like expecting someone to wake them up, after awhile of blankless, they all turn around and look back immediately and saw Jasper looking at them...

The guys hurried towards him and gave him a tight hug with happiness written all over their faces especially Michelle who was over joy while looking at her brother, Jasper signal to her using his arm and which mich came in for a hug while crying too...

"Am sorry I was out for too long mich!" Jasper said so anxiously

" It's okay, what matters is that you are up now" Michelle reply sobbing like a baby

" Come on! Don't be a cry baby" Jasper said patting her 

" We're glad you are awake now" the guys said

" Thank you very much for support" Jasper said weakly while staring at all the guys 

"You are welcome" Kay reply with a smile

" Well, we're heading to the school" Nelly said

" Hoping to see you in school soon" Richie said

" Soon guys!" Jasper reply coldly

"Okay guys, let's go" prem said and they all bid Jasper and Michelle a good bye and off they went

Michelle then sat down beside Jasper and was staring at him while Jasper smiled back in return. Jasper held Michelle hand so tight and told her...

"I don't want you to hold grudges and hatred in your heart, I want to be the free will Mich who never cared about anyone, I want you to be happy and I will be there for you" Jasper said sadly

Michelle looked at him and recall what they've passed through and she started crying and looking up just so her tears won't fall off...

"I hate him jas, he made you like this..." Michelle said

" Promise me you'll keep calm and do as I say" Jasper said sadly holding her tight

Michelle stared at her brother for awhile deliberating whether she should promise him or not because she knew the hatred she has for her uncle in her cannot die down, but after some minutes, she gave in...

"I promise, I will do as you say and not keep any negative emotions in me" Michelle said stammering sadly

" Thank you. I love you" Jasper said and hug Michelle while crying behind and clenching his fist

Richie and other guys can be seen coming out of the classroom while chit chatting with each other and pulling a prank on a new student by telling the boy a wrong direction to the staff toilet rather than the students toilet....

After awhile of jest, they all went to the football pitch because a game was holding and prem and Richie are playing, they were girls on the field cheering and shouting as soon as prem and Richie arrived at the field. The guys went to change their outfit and run to the pitch while the girls was cheering for them...

Kay and nelly sat down and was watching the match while one of their colleague approach them.

"Hey!" Natasha said bluntly

Kay and nelly stared at each other and later back at her without saying a word. Natasha was furious but didn't get upset because of the information she wants from them, she stood in front of them and block their view of the match.

"What do you want Natasha!!" Nelly said in a furious manner

" Well, how are you?" Natasha asked with a fake smile 

" We good!" Kay answered bluntly

"Well I was meaning to ask you about" Natasha was saying sluggishly

" Jasper right!?" Nelly said with a hard stare

" Yeah. I haven't seen him for a while now, could you possibly know where he is.." Natasha said 

" Hm so now you noticed him right?" Kay said 

" It's not so...I just..I didn't see him in class" Natasha stuttered

" Well we know where he is but won't tell!" Nelly said harshly, stood up and left with Kay 

Natasha chased after them but they didn't wait for her to meet up with them before getting into their various car and zoom off...

Natasha pov

Where on earth could Jasper be, he hasn't been in school for awhile now and I already missed him so much, I already miss his stares, I can't ignore him anymore when his back, I will start giving him my attention now because then I was only trying to prove stubborn so that he can try more harder....

I geuss I have to go meet Richie and prem after their match since Nelly and Kaylan won't tell me a thing. I have to watch this match till the end just to have an audience with them...

I watched how the girls keeps cheering and over Richie and prem, if Jasper was playing too then the whole college girls would be on the pitch crying over him and wanting him to look at them, how am I so lucky that he looks and stare at only me!

I shouldn't have ignore his feelings for me this too long, I know he still has that feeling for me and would be glad to see me. If he had been playing now, then the match would have been interesting...

Arianna was seen walking towards her dad feeling a bit curious and looking stressful but her dad didn't glance at her but rather continue to shave his beard. Moreso Ariana had a question she wanted to ask but the situation between her and shaw is not so straight now, so she's looking for an opportunity to get him talking to her...

She took a cup and fill with hot tea and intentionally pour it on herself while she winced in pain loudly but her father didn't boudge and just stare at her in amazement. Ariana was disappointed that her trick didn't work, so she thought of another trick, so she walked back into her room and came out fully dressed....

Shaw stare at her blankly but didn't say a word, Ariana walked pass him and head outside and was walking out thinking her father would hurry and stop her but her father didn't move an inch.

Ariana stomped back inside pissed that her trick didn't work out. She stood in front of her dad...

"Are you that annoyed with me that you couldn't even tell me sorry seeing that I poured a hot tea on my leg" Ariana flare up like a hungry baby

" You'll definitely heal up, so why should I tell you sorry ?" Shaw said raising an eyebrow

" You are so ridiculous father! " Ariana reply shockingly

" You think so? " Shaw said standing up

"Father! " Ariana nagged

"Princess!! You need a protector!" Shaw said

" Okay about that...did you do something?" Ariana said stylishly

" What!! I didn't do anything" shaw stuttered

" Then why am I having these blurry vision and feeling" Ariana said looking intensively at her father

"Vision...I ..I... I don't know.. maybe you are just tired" shaw said trying to avoid Ariana eyes

" Why are you stuttering and avoiding my eyes?" Ariana said trying to look him in the eyes

"Stop stressing me Ariana, I didn't do anything" shaw said and quickly escaped to his room and shut the door at Ariana

Ariana pov

Why is father avoiding my eyes, did he do something? I don't think he'll do that without my permission, but why am I suddenly feeling this way with blurry vision...

I hope he didn't just share his blood around to a stranger that I don't know because I won't accept someone to order me around because he wants to protect me, but what if the person is not interested in protecting me? I have to find out what my father did, am sure he has done something...

It was a new day, Jasper was dressing up in his room, he looked at himself sadly and smile a little while nodding his head saying everything would be fine...

After awhile, he heard a knock on his door which he opened and Michelle came in looking surprised...

"Are you strong to go to school? You should rest more" Michelle said as she saw him dress up

" Am strong mich, besides exam is approaching, I have to go to school and you too" Jasper said weakly

" Fine!! Let's go then, am through" Michelle said and Jasper nodded and carried his bag

Both of them walked out of the penthouse and looked outside while staring at each other. Normally it would have been car waiting for them but now it's nothing...

Jasper smiled and ran to a corner of the house and rode out a bicycle, Michelle was surprised and beem a smile of satisfaction...

"Hop on or you'll be late" Jasper said with a smile of encouragement

"Never knew you had a bike!" Michelle said sitting at the back 

" Got it because of you, since there's no more car" Jasper reply while driving off

" I like it, so you'll ride me to school every day before going to your school" Michelle said holding him tight

" Of course, you don't worry" Jasper said increasing his speed

Jasper arrived at her school and he stopped while Michelle got off the bike, bid him farewell and started walking into the school way.

 Jasper drove off and after some seconds he remembered that he didn't give Michelle any money, so he drove back immediately and got to the school way but saw some guys blocking Michelle way and trying to scare her...

Jasper angrily got off the bike and put the bike at one side, while he ran towards the guys clenching his fists and unknown to him, his eyes color had slightly changed.

Jasper is finally awake

But is Jasper the way he is before?

Ariana would be a stubborn one, do you think so?

Natasha is ready to accept our Jasper...
