6. Romantic Dance

SUSANNA……

"I see, you have a Guest with you today? Who is she? Your girlfriend?" I asked Leonardo as soon as I and Charles reached them.

"Does it have anything to do with you?" His cold reply slapped me right on my face. How could he insult me in front of outsiders? My hands turned into balls in rage and I glared at him.

"Let's go, darling. We should not waste our valuable time with a person like her. She isn't worth it. Look, Dad and Mom are here." My body trembled with fury if it was some other time then I would show him what a person like me can do.

"Let's go, honey." I hooked my arm with Charles and moved to greet Dad and Mom.

"Don't get angry, baby. You know how bad-tempered Leonardo is. Don't mind him. It's Dad and Mom's special day. So be happy." Charles tried to cheer me up and I put on a smile on my face while approaching Mom and Dad.

"Happy Anniversary, Mom- Dad." I wished, hugging them together.

"Thank you, Princess." I pulled away from them with a smile on my face. I was in a mood to murder but I didn't let my anger show on my face.

"Let's cut the cake first." I cheered excitedly and everyone gathered together. Dad and Mom cut the cake and feed each other then they feed Leo first. Their favorite child. Then my turn came. After taking a bite I took a big amount of cake in my hand. With an evil thought in my mind, I approached Leo. Who was busy feeding his darling. His back was facing me so he didn't notice me coming.

"Leo." As soon as he turned around I smashed the cake on his face.

"WHAT THE FUCK !" Leo roared in anger and I smirked triumphantly.

"Don't try to mess with me." Pointing my finger at him I warned him while gritting my teeth.

"Otherwise the consequences will be worse than this." saying that I spare a glance at his girlfriend before walking off.

"You will regret it, Little mouse." My lips curved up in a smirk hearing his words.

"I'm not afraid of you." I waved my hand without looking back holding a triumphant smile on my face.

"Baby, you are looking gorgeous today." Charles held my face and said looking right into my eyes intensely.

"Of course, because today I have especially dolled up for you. For our night." My voice was low and sexy and I traced my finger sensually on his face while saying that. I hope I know how to flirt with someone.

"Really!" His face lit up instantly hearing me. So I nodded my head.

"Of course, my love. Tonight we will become one. Then no one can separate us." I said, holding his face. I noticed lust in his eyes and I wanted to spit on his face out of disgust.

"Let's dance. Everyone is dancing. We should grab the chance to spend a romantic moment with each other." I dragged him to the dance floor with me.

As soon as we reached the dance floor, Charles slipped a hand to my lower back so I snaked my hand around his neck. He held my other hand and our bodies shifted with the rhythm of the music. My eyes traveled to find Leo dancing with his girlfriend. My blood boiled seeing them so close to each other. Their intimacy was killing me. Why do I feel this way? He's nothing to me. Then why do I feel this way about him? Isn't it wrong to have feelings for someone who is not your mate and even worse to have feelings for your brother?

In the past, I did a mistake by choosing Charles as my mate. But it seems I'm repeating the same mistake of having forbidden feelings for my brother. What the hell am I doing? My main purpose is to take my revenge. And then looking for my fated mate. I can't find my fated mate until Charles and my bond is broken. I don't have time for my puppy love. I have to execute my revenge as soon as possible. Then I have to look for my fated mate.

I was so engrossed in my thoughts that I didn't realize when I was switched with another partner until I found myself in Leo's arms. My heart almost stopped beating and I found my body frozen. I saw a devilish smile ghosting on his face.

"So finally you have come to my hands. Who will save you from me now? Your Stupid Chosen mate?" His upper lip was curved up with a smirk. And I smiled.

"I don't need any bodyguard to protect me. I'm capable enough to protect myself." Saying that I pulled him closer to me by his neck. And we came extremely close to each other that our hot breath was colliding with each other.

I didn't realize when my anger flew away through the window and I found myself drowning in his beautiful eyes. He'd always been beautiful, with his elegant planes and chiseled lines, but tonight he looked different. I'm sure he's going to be the death of me someday.

I could feel my pulse getting faster and warmth spreading over me, though it feels so alien to me but it feels so good. Leo lifted his hand to the back of my head and lowered his mouth to my ear. "I see you're quite enjoying dancing with me more than with your mate." I could feel the sarcasm dripping from his mouth with his words but I prefer to continue enjoying the dance with him. I was glad that it was dark otherwise it would be awkward.

"If you think like this then let me enjoy this, brother." I deliberately addressed him by that. He hates this when I call him brother. And I love to irritate him.

"Oh, so it seems you are in the mood to piss me off. Don't blame me later, love." My heart skip a beat hearing him calling me Love. It was the first time he address me like this.

Leo began to move his hand away from the back of my head while making his way slowly down my back, making my arms and legs feel so weak. My whole body shuddered against his body. He's taking his revenge very skillfully. But what he was doing to me was not good. I should not feel this way when he touches me. What's wrong with me?

The place where his hand rested on my waist felt like it was on fire. My pulse pounded harder, overpowering the music. The devilish grin on his face was long gone. Heat and desire shouldn't acknowledge blazing in its stead. A woozy readiness filled me when his hand slid up my back and around my neck. His head dipped, and my chin tilted up. Before his lips could meet mine the light came and the music was off. I immediately pulled away from him and looked around to understand what was happening around me. Then what I saw stunned me.
