Chapter 82_ Mummy, I want Daddy

Vanessa cleaned up the blood on his face, she wondered how much force Jeremy used in hitting him.

"Why didn't you defend yourself, Manuel? I know you so well, three men are not enough for you to defeat" she stated, matter-of-factly. Vanessa pulled the strands of his hair backwards so she could clean his face properly.

Manuel was silent for a moment when he realized that Vanessa saw through his pretense. He had defended her from being violated countless times, she knew his strength, it was obvious that he had pretended, just to get her attention.

Now he earned it, but to what gain, if she already knew the truth?

"Vanessa, I've missed you." He confessed.

"Please don't start, Manuel. I didn't bring you into my house for this." He declared, pressing the towel on his injured lips and he groaned. She knew that it would hurt him, so she did it on purpose.

"I need to see my son. You cannot keep him from me forever!"

"He isn't your son, Manuel. Remember? You accused me of cheating and divorce
