Chapter One hundred and Fifty Nine

Allegra’s Pov

As we stand amidst the aftermath of the battle, I turn to Xander, my voice filled with uncertainty. “Do you think she's really gone for good?” I ask, my eyes scanning the horizon for any sign of movement.

Xander's expression is grim as he shakes his head. “I don't know, Allegra,” he replies, his voice tinged with concern. “Elara is cunning and resourceful. We can't afford to let our guard down just yet.”
