All my life, only one person ever looked me in the eyes and saw my flaws and faults. And still loved me despite everyone of them.

That person was Hazel, and as I stared at our little baby bump, I couldn't pretend to be all manly and put together as a sob raked through my body.

She hid the baby from me because she felt I was going to hate it, and her because of the trauma my father instilled in me.

Even when it was hurting her, she put me first.
