FORCED TO CHOOSE

Winston's POV

My eyes widened as the elders emerged from the shadows, their presence suffocating me. I tried to rally my rogues, but we were vastly outnumbered. Realizing escape was impossible, I fell to my knees, my hands clasped together in a desperate plea. "Mercy, elders! Please, have mercy!" I begged, my voice trembling.

But the elders didn't seem to care. They halted me with a raised hand, their faces unyielding. The lead elder's voice was firm, commanding attention.

"We're not here to discuss your little group, Winston. We're here about whatever the hell this is and what exactly that's been causing trouble in the Order.”

But the elders' expressions remained unyielding, their faces cold and unforgiving. I let out a sigh of relief as I realized they didn't come for me or my band of misfits. They came for one reason, the fight that threatened to destabilize the Order. A fight that I instigated… Shit…. I was still in grave danger.
