Reese's POV

I sat in my quarters, my mind racing with thoughts of Sera's proposal. I had turned her down, but I couldn't shake off the feeling that I could've made a powerful ally. As I poured myself a glass of whiskey, my eyes narrowed as I thought about Sera's words. "We could be great allies," she had said, but at what cost? I took a swig of whiskey, feeling the burn in my chest. I knew I couldn't trust Sera, but a part of me wondered what would have happened if I had accepted her offer.
