LOGINEila Holden POV
“What?” I screamed, my voice echoing as I stared at Ria.
She froze, confusion flashing in her eyes before she snapped coldly, “Why do you care so much?”
I couldn’t believe it. Ria… my own sister. She wasn’t just jealous—she was cruel. She was plotting against me, hiring rogues to attack me so I would never reach the woods for my first shift. If they hurt me, Marcus would reject me. That was her plan.
And after she got her money, she’d make sure everyone turned away from me, while she chose her own mate. That day, I realized—she wasn’t my sister anymore. She was my worst enemy. And I swore, I would make her pay.
I went downstairs and found Henry staring at my picture on the table. His eyes lingered on me longer than I expected. Maybe… maybe he could help me too. As I stepped down the last stair, a strange sound filled my head, like a voice whispering inside me. My wolf. It was almost time.
I shook it off and walked to Henry. Hugging my knees, I sat close and whispered, “Ria wants to sell me to King Marcus. She doesn’t want me to be with my true mate chosen by the Moon Goddess. She’s planning to have rogues block my path so Marcus will reject me too.”
Henry’s face went pale. His voice was low, almost trembling. “What? Eila, he’ll never take you as his mate. He’s still waiting for his true Luna. Until then… he’ll use you. Just use you. You need to get to the woods. Now. Shift under the moon. Only then we’ll see if you meet your real mate or what fate has planned.”
We ran. Quiet, fast, before Ria noticed we were gone. And soon, I was standing in the clearing, stripped bare under the silver glow of the moon. The light wrapped around me, and I felt my bones shift, my body breaking, remaking. I fell to the ground—then rose as a wolf.
Snow white. Pure. Radiant.
Henry’s mouth fell open. His eyes were wide, stunned. “You look… enchanting. Eila, your wolf is beautiful.”
I glanced down at myself, my fur shimmering in the moonlight, but a strange sadness clung to me. Henry came closer, wrapping his arms around me. “Isn’t it strange, Eila? You’re even more beautiful now… in this form.”
Then he hesitated, his voice tight with fear. “There’s only one pure white wolf in the entire pack. Marcus. Only him. He’s the Alpha King.”
Before Henry could finish, shadows closed in around us. Wolves. A whole group, circling. And at the center… him.
He was huge. Muscled. Handsome beyond reason. His face sharp, carved like stone, lips soft like a child’s skin. Dark brown eyes, skin kissed by the sun, tall and broad like a fortress. He carried a mystery that demanded submission. No one could resist him.
Marcus.
His eyes locked on mine—dark, burning, like coffee laced with fire. My body trembled. Heat washed over me as he came closer. I turned away, refusing to look. Then, in a flash, he shifted. His wolf was magnificent. Powerful. Unstoppable.
Henry’s chest tightened, fear written all over his face. “Eila… that’s him. King Marcus. The Alpha who wants to claim you.”
Two emotions warred inside me. One part of me wanted to run into his arms, bury myself in his warmth. The other wanted to scream, to reject him, to never let him touch me.
He sensed it. My fear. My disgust. I stepped back, my heart racing. He wasn’t here for love. He was here for possession.
“Why are you here? Who sent you? Was it my sister—”
“Enough.” His voice cut me like a blade. His claws twitched, nearly raking across my chest, but he stopped himself at the last second. “You don’t get to decide. And this is your only warning—never speak to me like that again. Or it will be your last.”
“Then kill me!” I spat back, trembling.
The other wolves surrounded Henry, forcing him still. Marcus roared, lifted me with brutal strength, and carried me away. To my house. To Ria’s house.
He threw me onto the bed, his voice cold, dangerous. “Everyone begs for my touch. And yet… the girl who set my body on fire dares to pull away?”
I crawled backward, tears spilling, fear choking me. “Please… let me go.”
My fear only fed his hunger. His eyes swept over me, devouring, dark with desire. He leaned closer. His hand tangled in my hair, his breath hot against my neck.
I sobbed. “Please… I’m still a virgin. Leave me alone!”
His lips brushed my ear as he whispered, low and cruel, “And that… that’s exactly why I want you. Untouched. Pure. No one else has had you. Not even a kiss.”
Ella Holden povMy heel touched the white floor at the end of the stairs when he finally set me down from his arms. Right then, I caught sight of the dim lights glowing all around us, painting the rainy night in something breathtaking. He pushed the chairs aside and came back toward me, eyes burning, voice a whisper.“Strip me out of these damn clothes, Ella.”I met his gaze with the same fire, fingers moving fast to undo the buttons of his shirt, while he was already pulling off my white jacket.“God, you don’t know how much I love this side of you. The way you touch me, kiss me, take what you want… you drive me insane in ways you can’t even imagine.”I kicked off my heels, shoved down my pants. He was undressing just as quickly, devouring me with his hungry ey
Ella Holden povMarcus cupped my left breast, pulling my hands away as his face hovered close to my tense features.I whispered, embarrassed, “I’m allowed to feel shy, Marcus.”A moan slipped from me when his finger rubbed over my nipple. His own soft sigh followed mine.“And now? Tell me how you feel, little one.”My nails dug into the chair as I sank deeper into the rising pleasure. He kept rubbing, faster, not stopping, his breath uneven.“Come on, Ella. Say it.”I let out a long moan, mixed with a sting of pain, when he pressed the needle into the skin above my breast.“It feels… a mix of pleasure and a little pain.”He kept drawing the letters slowly, his thumb still teasing my nipple, leaving me breathless with heat a
Ella Holden POVHe parked the car in front of the tattoo shop right at ten in the morning.“We’re here.”I narrowed my eyes at him, then glanced at the glowing red sign above the glass door. I mouthed the words softly.“TATTOO SHOP.”He pulled off his seatbelt and asked me with a helpless tone.“Ready?”I nodded.“Ready.”The moment we stepped inside, I didn’t expect the shop to be empty. I clung to his arm and whispered.“Are we here alone?”“Almost, yes.”I didn’t fully understand what he meant until a man dressed in black, a mask covering half his face, stepped toward us. He bowed slightly and spoke.“Come with me, Alpha Marcus.&rd
Ella Holden POV“Let me help you get dressed.”I played with his hair and muttered, “Why?”He lifted his eyes to mine, smirking.“You must still be tired after everything you went through last night.”I pulled his arms away, annoyed.“I’m fine. Not as exhausted as you think.”He stretched back lazily as I walked to the closet.“Then make sure you’re ready before me.”I pulled out a summer dress covered in soft flowers.“I’m going to the bathroom.”His voice turned sharp.“Put it on here. I’m getting ready too.”My lips parted in shock as he stood, pushing the silk cover off his waist. My eyes instantly caught on the sight of his hard length. He stepp
Ella Holden POVMarcus’s hand brushed over my ass, light and teasing, stealing the breath from my lungs. I crawled onto the bed, my knees pressing into the mattress, and I heard him whisper through a tight breath.“You’re going to get the hot slaps you deserve, enough to make you learn your lesson… and to pay back every debt you owe me.”I was about to answer when a sharp gasp escaped me instead. His wide palm had landed hard, the sting sharp but the pleasure even sharper, sparking fire deep inside me.“Did you like that?”My voice came out hazy.“I’m not used to you slapping me like that, so—”Another slap cut me off, harsher than the first.“I asked you a question.”I closed my eyes, weak, trembling.
Ella Holden povMarcus slowed down, wrapping his hand around his length, stroking himself in front of me just to build my need and drive me insane. His eyes looked empty, yet his touch burned fire into my skin.“You should never have stood in front of him. You shouldn’t have talked to him at all. I don’t care if the subject was meaningless or not. That look you shared, that eye contact… it was more than just a cursed coincidence.”He cursed under his breath, frustrated, almost spilling his release.“Didn’t I warn you? No mixing with other men. No exceptions.”Before I could even breathe, he shoved his hot seed inside my mouth, thrusting deep until my throat filled. My chest heaved, panic mixing with lust as the warm taste slid down my throat.“Choke on it, Ella.”&
