Chapter 104

SARAH'S POV

The day had finally come. I dressed up carefully. As I walked towards the sitting room, my heart pounded in my chest. There, standing side by side, were my grandmother and Brenda, both smiling at me with warmth in their eyes.

My grandmother’s smile was gentle. She walked over to me, her footsteps slow but steady, and placed a comforting hand on my shoulder.

“Child, I know this is not easy. But remember, you come from a long line of fighters. We’ve faced storms before and come out stronger. You will too. Don’t be afraid, my dear. You have more courage inside you than you realize. You will win this battle, just as those before you have.” She said softly.

Her words wrapped around me like a warm blanket on a cold night. I felt a little of my fear melt away, replaced by a small flicker of hope.

“Thank you, grandmother, I’ll do my best,” I whispered, feeling a surge of determination.

“I know you will,” Grandma said, squeezing my shoulder gently.
