Sitting before the table in my room, I couldn't help but thump my fingers rhythmically on the desk, my mind hovering with a lot of thoughts as I tried to get things straight.

“I can't be hallucinating, right?” I pondered as my brows furrowed with nothing but worry and confusion.

I could recall going to the slave woods to get a servant for my pack, but when I got there, I could sense Elora. I could sense her presence, but when I looked around, I couldn't find her. I didn't see a single strand of her hair.

“She was there… she must have been there. There's definitely no way I would sense her if she wasn't there.” I mumbled as I stood up from the chair I was sitting on at this point.
