Elora's POV.

“Alpha Killian!” Dayton's voice pierced through the silence and the stench of blood, making me recall my reason for coming to the Blackwood pack to fight.

Without hesitation, I ran towards where they were. Seeing Alpha Killian in Dayton's grip, all covered with blood, I felt an intense pang grip my heart immediately.

“Killian!” I gasped as I fell to the ground on my knees, my eyes bulging out in both fear and confusion.

“How did this happen?” Tears began to trickle from my eyes at his sight. Crawling closer to him, I placed one hand beneath his head and the other on his back.

The blood that kept gushing out of his body stained it so much that I feared what was going to happen next to Alpha Killian. Was he going to survive the hit from the rogues?

He looked so pale and, above all, so weak. It didn't look like he could self-heal too. Just as I kept trying to help him remain conscious, Scarlet came out from only the moon goddess knew where and pushed me aside.
