“It's best you take her and leave, Chief Han!” I warned, but at this point, it was obvious that Chief Han was never going to listen to me. He was never going to heed to whatever I said to him.

“Never, Alpha Killian! I'm sorry, but she has come to stay, and nothing can stop that!” He declared, making my fist clench as I halted right in my tracks. He had just dared me. I was trying not to hold back the anger that I felt.

“Very well then, Han… but whatever happens to her, I am never to be blamed!” I declared with a tightened fist before I headed right for my room in the mansion.
