I KNOW I can't avoid him forever. I know our paths will cross again but I didn't expect it will happen sooner. He's requesting me. That's strange.

What could he possibly want from me?

Markus took me to a familiar room, the Alpha's art room and just like the last time I entered the room, Alpha Lucien is not yet present.

I tried amusing myself with his artwork then I noticed that the painting from before is already hanging on the wall. His mother's painting in her wolf form is the biggest among the rest.

I wonder what Lucien's mother looks like. I bet his mother is beautiful.

I was brought back from my thoughts when I heard the door open. I held my breath when Alpha Lucien enters the room.

"Glad you're here. Please... sit," he said while pointing at the couch near the window.

I swallowed hard and now we are both seated across each other.

He was intently staring at me again so I immediately opened my mouth to speak. "Uh, is there anything that I can help you with?"
