“Thank you,” I said, relief washing through my body. “For staying home with me tonight. I know that you have a lot of work to do and I don’t want to hold you back from anything, but…” I crawled up near him again and wrapped my arms around his shoulders. “This means a lot to me.”

“Anything for you,” he mumbled against my lips, arms resting on the sides of the tub. He grazed his finger across his gun, smirked, and repeated, “Anything for you.”

“Where are we going?” I asked, gazing out the tinted car windows at all the New Yorkers and tourists walking down the streets in a large pack. We were headed through Times Square at peak hour.

“Take off your clothes, sweetheart,” Daddy said.

“My… my clothes?” I whispered, gulping. “All of them?”

“All of them.”
