"You didn't have to send Gavner out of the pack," Nadia said as she walked up to me. "What will people say about you?"

I was furious at why everyone didn't want me to send Gavner away, and now they are upset.

I am the alpha, and I have every right to do whatever I want and make any decision that seems best to suit me and whoever I am doing it for.

"I do not care about what they say as long as I'm still in that position."

"I cared about what they said initially, and now I have to prove to them that I'm still capable of being alpha," I shot back at her as I sat on a chair.

I felt like no one cared about me—understanding me was their problem.

I have no idea why I am pushing myself to have a fight with Rodriguez when, deep down inside, I do not want to.

I do not have to prove anything to anyone.
