CHAPTER 156: THE DEATH OF RODRIGUEZ

Walking into the castle, the cool wind blew against my skin, filling it with goosebumps. Candra walked behind me as she tried not to walk in the same space as me.

Sooner or later, I knew I was going to find out what was going on here ever since I left.

I looked around as I searched for Nora, hoping that I would get to see her. I knew she wouldn't want anything to do with me ever since the last incident, when I almost strangled her to death.

'I'm sorry, it wasn't my doing.' I feel sad within myself.

Pushing the castle door wide open as I stepped in, I heard footsteps from inside walking in my direction.

I wondered who it was because I certainly had never heard such footsteps before inside the castle.

Raising my head and looking around, Rodriguez came into view with an eye patch on one of his eyes. I wondered what happened to him that made him lose his eye.

"Horace! You are back... back to nothing," Rodriguez made fun of me as he clapped his hand while walking towards me.
