To their surprise, the interior of the place is not affected by the same reddish-brown color that dominates the entire Blood City.
It does not have any hint of the sanguine ambient light outside and it works to their liking.
After all, it would really put them on edge if they end up getting trapped inside an abandoned old mansion that looks as if it was covered by dried blood.
