STEFAN’S POV
I couldn’t believe my ears. Jana is gone? I killed her with my own hands. I fell to my knees with an indescribable pain in my hear.
“No!” I shouted as my fangs came out and I growled out loud in pain of my lost loved one. A few days later, I was still devastated as expected. I didn’t go out, neither did I eat. The reality of losing Jana was causing me a lot of pain that no pain reliever could relieve me of. I heard a knock on my door and knew it was my beta. He had been coming consecutively to check up on me and that was getting on my nerves.
“What do you have to say this time?” I asked, without looking at him.
“Alpha, you have not eaten for the past three days and it would affect you if you continue this way. Please eat something. I know that if there was a way you can bring her back, you would have done so.” He said, looking concerned.
As he finished his sentence, my brain jolted and I remembered the witches whom we do not relate with. They would be able to bring back my Jana to life. Although, it was against the law, but at this point, I would do anything and all it takes to bring Jana back.
I quickly left my room and headed towards the witches’ kingdom, which was a bit far from ours. But my determination was the driver, so I didn’t feel tired while journeying to their kingdom as I carried Jana. Although, it wasn’t easy and that was the reason I took rest at interval.
A few hours later, I got to their borders, I could sense the power that was in their kingdom. The witches were dangerous and unpredictable, but I would do anything at any cost to bring back Jana or I wouldn’t be myself. It has to be Jana or nobody.
Fortunately, I got to their palace before night fall and I was fortunate because I heard that powerful monsters roamed around their border because they were attracted to the power that was sensed from there, but the only thing keeping them out was a magical substance that protected their kingdom from such monsters.
“Who are you?” The Queen asked, with her right eyebrow raised.
“I am Stefan of both the Red Moon Pack and Venture vampire Clan. I am the Lycan and Vampire King.” I introduced myself without coming off as proud.
“Hmmm. You are the king, so I assume that you know very well that you being here, is defying the laws of the supernatural realm in your kingdom.” She said as she sat up.
Her gaze was fixed on Jana who I had laid on the floor.
“Who is she? And why have you brought her body?” She asked, out of curiosity.
“She is my Luna and she died a few days ago, but I want you to help me bring her back to life.” I asked, with pleading eyes.
“It is not possible for us to bring her back to life, Alpha Stefan.” She said, with her gaze now back on me.
I felt ripped in my heart. They were my only hope, but they couldn’t do it? That has to be a lie, probably they didn’t want to help me.
“Please help me. I believe you can bring her back to life. Please, I beg of you.” I pleaded earnestly, hoping that she would change her mind.
“We can’t bring her back to life, but we can cast a spell that would re-incarnate her.” She said, tapping her finger on the arm of the throne she sat on.
The joy that sprang up in my heart couldn’t be fathomed. I was happy that there was finally a way to bring back my Jana.
“Yes please. I do not mind, as far as Jana is back to life.” I said, hastily.
Although, there was a high chance that Jana would live, but the re-incarnation process was a long one. It could take years, even decades before it is completed.
Then the witch queen snapped her finger and three witches came into the palace and looked at me out of curiosity.
“Queen, you called for us.” One of them said as she bowed her head to her a little.
“He wants his Luna to be re-incarnated.”
The witches looked at me with out of confusion. It seemed as if they didn’t want to do what I wanted, but their queen gave them a nod to go on.
Then they used their powers to make Jana’s body float in the air.
“Follow us.” The second witch said as Jana’s body followed them as she floated in the air.
I followed them to their coven, which was dark, but lit up a bit. There was a big circle in the middle that looked like a globe.
“Think about her as we cast the re-incarnation spell on her.” The third witch said as she joined the other witches to cast the spell.
A few minutes later, Jana dissipated and they stopped.
“She will now come in any other form, but we do not know who she came back as.” The first witch informed, without an expression on her face.
I understood what she meant, and I hoped that I would find Jana anytime soon. I was given a room to stay the night and when it was morning, I journeyed back to my kingdom.
“Alpha, the council of elders asked to see you.” My beta informed me, with his eyes lowered.
I went to the council of elders and they all didn’t look pleased. They were furious and I wondered why they all looked that way.
“We learned that you have gone against the law of the supernatural realm. You asked for help to bring back Jana to life, how could you do that?” Elder Neon lashed out at me.
“You are the Alpha King and you know of those rules very well. You also know that we can not forgive that act.” Elder Gray said, looking stern.
“We got a message from the witches, asking if it wasn’t a trap or foul play and that was how we knew of what you did. Tomorrow, we shall gather everyone and state out the judgement we shall give you in this case. Until then, you have no right as an Alpha.” Elder Nala proclaimed in anger.
I knew it was going to be a critical situation, but I was happy that Jana was going to re-incarnate. The next day, everyone had gathered, including the vampires. It was time for them to make their decision.
“Without much thoughts regarding this issue, Alpha Stefan, you have disobeyed the laws of this kingdom and as a King, it wasn’t expected from you. You are thereby banished from our kingdom and even the vampires’ kingdom.” Elder Neon pronounced, heavily.
I was shocked that I was banished. Why would that thought cross their mind and how am I supposed to find Jana?
STEFAN’S POVI was exiled and the only place I could go to was the human world to stay hidden from the supernatural world. I, King Stefan, who was once revered was now exiled from my kingdoms. I entered the portal, with determination to start a new life.~A few years later…“Boss, your schedule for today is a bit hectic. You have a meeting with Mr. Greenfield, Mrs. Walter and you have a golf date with Miss Jenny.” My secretary informed me as he held the document.“Cancel them all.” I instructed, without looking up at him.“S…sir? There is still more.” He said as he bent his head to me.“I said, cancel them all!” I slammed my fist on the table which made a few breakable things on my table to roll of the table and break.“o…okay sir.” He stuttered and left my office.Since I lost Jana, I had become a cold-hearted freak and was used to being alone. I detested having meetings with any of them as we were bound from interacting with humans to the extent of them finding out who we really ar
STEFAN’S POV.“Excuse me sir, did you just say I should hire her? They have not compared her to anyone yet.” My secretary said, bulging his eyes out.“Inform those who are applying for the same position as hers, that we have found someone for the job.” I instructed him as I kept looking at Jana.“Alright sir.” My secretary said as he made to leave.“Wait. What position is she applying for?” I asked, out of curiosity.“A fashion designer and we have only one slot left.” He replied, respectfully.“Alright. You can leave.”I took a last look at her and then went back to my office. I was overjoyed, fate had brought back Jane to me and there was hope for me to get her back. Then I picked up the landline, then called my secretary.“Inform her that she is to start work, tomorrow.” “Alright, sir.”Then I hung up and crossed my legs, then played music. This was the first best day I have ever had since I came to the human world.JANA’S POVI woke up feeling ready to try out Stefan’s Design Co
JANA’S POV“Hello everyone, I am Melissa and I am the new recruit.” I greeted everyone with a bright smile on my face.“You are welcome. I am Dana, the head of this team. We have Alicia, Edward, Corey and Britney who are a part of this team.” Dana introduced them to me and they all came to me to give me a handshake. “So, I am certain you know your work as a fashion designer and that is the same thing we do here, but we have to make sure that we stand out, so that we can beat the other team. And then we would be able to get recognition and be trusted more for trendy outfits, okay?” Dana explained, briefly as she put her hands on her waist.Looking at her, I could tell her that she had a good fashion sense, even if it was not one that made people think she is gifted or sort, but I admired her and the way she spoke. Being in one of the best companies and meeting cool colleagues, got me stoked.“Alicia and Edward are in charge of street wears, and with your portfolio, I can see that you
JANA’S POV.“Who is there?” I asked, with my eyes, looking around in fear.“Sorry, did I scare you?” It was the pervert CEO who had appeared in the restroom with me.“What are you doing here?” I asked as I held myself tight.“I’m not here to hurt you.” He said, looking like he was concerned.“You are in the female’s restroom!” I shouted as I reached the end of the restroom. Then he looked around like he knew nothing about where he was. “Oh, my goodness. I’m sorry.” He apologized, then left the restroom. My heart was still racing and I was clueless on what to do. Was he really a pervert? Why is it me he has his eyes on? I left the restroom and walked quickly to the office where I met the others, waiting for me.“Uhm… Sorry I took time.” I apologized, with my hands, shaking as I picked up my bag.“It’s fine.” Britney said, with a smile on her face and then, she hung her hand around my shoulders.Edward had a car, so we all hopped in and he drove us to the restaurant.~“Cheers!” Ever
STEFAN'S POV.I knew this was going to be a problem, if I let her go with this information. Then I picked her up and she was shivering, in fear. Then I held her tight.“You saw none of my werewolf powers. You only saw how I fought with him with good skills and then he got knocked out.” I said, using my vampire powers to hypnotize her. Then I knocked her out and then lodged her in a hotel room and went back to my house. I removed my tie and sat on the couch, staring into blank space and the first thought that came to my mind was Jana. I needed to be in her life and it just seemed that every way I tried to come closer, was wrong to her.~MELISSA’S POVThe next day, I went to work, ready to take on my project. As I got to work, I greeted everyone, with a smile, and before I could have my seat. That same man who addressed us before the CEO, walked in.“Miss Melissa?” He called my name, then walked out.I looked at my colleagues, then followed the secretary.‘Sorry if you may have found
MELISSA’S POV.“Melissa! Melissa!” I could hear my name, being called, but it wasn’t loud. My eyes began to open little by little. Had I fainted?Edward picked me up gently and I staggered a bit, but he was there to hold me tight. He held me tight and then I rubbed my eyes and opened it, only to find him looking at me, with worry.“Are you sure you are fine? Come, let’s get to the clinic.” He said, with worry, written all over his face.“I’m…I’m fine. I…I can walk on my own.” I said as I tried to walk on my own, but staggered back into his arms.“You see? I do not think you are fine. Let’s get you to the clinic.” Edward said, then drove me to the clinic.~“You are fine. You probably just need rest.” The nurse said, with a smile.I couldn’t explain what had happened to me, neither did I understand what happened. But why did I pass out over that? Something seemed fishy, but I guess I really needed rest just as the nurse said. While Edward was driving me back home, I looked at him. He
MELISSA'S POVI got to the restaurant and I saw Layla looking around like she expected that I ought to have been there, since a while ago."Melissa. You came in late, why is that?" She asked, staring at me suspiciously."That wasn't intentional, so stop giving me that expression. You won't believe what just happened.""What just happened?" She asked, inquisitively."Well, I bumped into this pride filled woman at the entrance and she said I scratched her bag, which was a limited edition and then she asked me to pay the money back." I explained as I sipped my drink, still not believing that the woman had placed a debt on me that easy."O.M.G. Those kind of people are really bad luck. What then happened?""Surprisingly, the CEO threatened her never to treat his employees, lowly anymore except she is done having a business with him." I added, with a smile on my face."Oh, my goodness. That's so cool. Mr. Stefan is really a cool man. If he can fight for his employees, how much more his wom
STEFAN’S POVSeeing as she left in such a hurry, was disturbing. It didn’t seem like good news either. I dropped my fork and took up my suit and headed towards my car as fast as I could, so I wouldn’t lose track of her.Thankfully, I caught sight of her. She was running to wherever she was going to and I just followed her slowly at the back. A few minutes later, she got to her destination, I presume. Everywhere looked scattered, it looks like they had thrown her friend’s belongings away, then I used my wolf ears to eavesdrop, which I knew was wrong, but this was Melissa’s case. I am always more than interested on her case.“Oh, my goodness. How could she do this at night?” She gasped, with her hands, covering her mouth.~I watched as they conversed regarding the house issues until she went into her house, angrily. So, it was her, owing house rent, afterall. I drove off, back to my house and thought of what to do. There was no way I could give her landlady the money, because word woul
MELISSA'S POV.Bonus Chapter.I got out of the swirling portal and wiped my hair to the back as it had scattered due to the wind. Oh, my. It has been a long while since I got here. It feels like second home.I walked out of the woods and then when I got to the road side, I brought out the currency I had kept since I left here and then hailed a cab.“Taxi!” I hailed the cab and got into it. I sat back and exhaled, ready to enjoy the ride.“Where to, ma’am?” He asked, politely.“Stefan’s Design, please.”I wanted to see how Edward was doing after all these months. I was certain he was doing well as he was a good leader and was capable of leading the people well. As soon as I got to the company, I ensured I put on the cap I brought along with me, so I won’t be recognized by anyone here. What explanation would I give them all if they caught sight of me? So, it was best for me to go unnoticed.I walked up to the vending machine and smiled as I recalled beautiful memories here, especial
STEFAN'S POV.It was a bright new day and this day felt different. Of course, it was the day to determine if we were going to win this war or not. But I had faith that our fate had something better in store for us all."It's time, right?" Melissa asked."Yes." Then I turned to the three warriors, Diego and Natasha. "We might face fear, hurdles and problems that seem bigger than us all, but we'll never back out until we win. Are we ready to fight this war!" I voiced out in confidence."Yes, Alpha!" They all chorused and then we headed out of the witches' kingdom back to the woods. While walking in the woods, Diego spoke up."The witches were really selfish this time, apart from giving Luna Jana back to us. If they couldn't fight the war, they could have at least, given us something which could be helpful to us." Diego pouted."It's fine, Diego. I believe we will win this war." "With or without them." Natasha added, with confidence."That's the spirit! It's time to show Valon the grea
MELISSA'S POV.I was in the room which they had kept me in, with my wounds magically healed. I was thankful that the witches had saved me, but I feared that they would be just another enemy whom I had gotten into their hands.Suddenly, the door creaked open and I noticed one of the witches at the door."You need to come out. Our Queen has asked for your presence." She informed me, without a smile."Do you think she wants to strike me dead or so something really nasty to me?" I asked, out of anxiousness."Please come out before things get nasty." She replied. Why were they so uptight here? I guess that's why they still stood strong, because they didn't allow any slight weakness to destroy them. They were queens over their weaknesses.I slowly followed her out to her meeting hall and to my surprise, I noticed Stefan, standing right before her."Melissa." He called out to me, looking touched."Stefan." I called out to him, softly as I covered my mouth with my hand.I couldn't believe it
STEFAN’S POV.It was a new day, and finally, we had gotten to the witches’ kingdom. I was glad that at least up to seven men made it with me and I hoped that what we came here for was going to be successful and not abortive. The witches were hard to please and to plead to them was a really difficult thing to do with a low chance of being helped. I was lucky that I was helped many years ago without too much effort and I hoped it would be the same, this time, because we didn’t have much time to waste anymore. We got to the large gate and we were stopped by two of their female guards. As fragile as they looked, they were really powerful. One could sense power going through their veins and you wouldn’t want to upset them.“Please allow us in. We have an important matter to talk about to your Queen.” I pleaded.“Our Queen do not want us to allow people in, so you have to go back.” One of them said, with a straight face.“Please you have to allow us in. We came all the way here and tried o
STEFAN'S POV.“Holy shit!”I knew that there were different supernatural but I never knew that there was one like this. She charged towards us and in one strike, she killed three men and then slashed Diego’s skin.“Aaargh!” Diego groaned in pain as he dropped down to the floor.“Her slashes are painful. The only way to kill her is to aim our claws at her heart.” Natasha informed me.“Alright, I guess we have to watch her moves closely as she is really fast.”“Exactly!”I nodded and Natasha and I charged towards her and we were able to avoid her claws. We successfully darted our claws at her heart and she became weak and fell to the ground and was dying slowly.“I think we should stop digging into her heart. Probably we can give her a chance or sort. She might agree to join us in our journey.”“No, Stefan. Do not be in a hurry to gain more people to fight with you. Her kind are deceptive in nature and the second chance you give her, she will ensure she kills you and trust me, that sec
MELISSA’S POV.What am I going to do? I began to think hard and it felt as if my heart which was beating fast was too loud for me to hear my thoughts and I almost screamed at this. Then a thought came to me and Immediately, I put in action.Any wrong move or wrong act could take away the bit of trust he had given me today. I quickly sat on his bed and crossed my legs, then I tried to calm myself so I do not look suspicious.“Phew! You can do this.” I sighed and encouraged myself. Then the door creaked open and my chest heaved up, refusing to go down. Valon walked into the room and his expression showed how surprised he was to see me.“What are you doing here, Jana? What do you want or should I say to what pleasure do I owe your presence?” He inquired while he stood, gazing at me.“I came to ask for a favor.”“What favor is that?” He asked, with his furrowed brows, becoming more obvious.“I want a personal guard. In fact, I need a personal guard. Ever since you gave me one just to tes
MELISSA’S POV.I didn’t know if this could be a trap or not and I wouldn’t want to fall into something like this, so I had to carefully choose my words and know the right action to take while in this dungeon.“I guess a lot of things have gotten into your head. Help me check if there is anything like a letter in your cell.” Then he scoffed. “I know about the letter which you are looking for.” He blurted out as he held the bars of his cell.If truly he knew what I was looking for and could say something really informative, it was best to ask him but I needed to try my best not to sound desperate.“You know about the letter, really? Well, if you do, where is it?” I asked, hoping he was going to tell me without I having to go through any sort of stress.“Not so fast, Luna.”“What do you want?” I let out my frustration.“I will tell you all you need to know if you are able to persuade Valon to set me free from the dungeon.”“But you do not deserve to be there. You and I both know that.
STEFAN’S POV.Night had fallen and Natasha, Diego and I, were brought out and the crowd gathered to watch the fight between Theodore and I. Some of them seem excited while some had expressions of dread on their faces.“Now Alpha, it is time for us to have a match. Are you ready or you are still warming up?” Theodore asked, looking down at me.I glanced at Natasha and Diego. Diego was looking angry while Natasha was calm. I also stared at the crowd and I could feel the atmosphere was tense around them as well, then I looked back at Theodore who was acting foolish. To me, he was just like a boy whom I needed to correct and knock some senses into his head.“I know very well that you are mocking me and if I were to look at our age, I am very much older than you. I am not interested in bragging about how I could knock you out in a second.” I said to him and he snickered. Then I turned to the crowd.“You all are wasting the strength and the time that is needed for more important things tha
MELISSA’S POV.I mustered up my courage and walked up to him.“So, you requested to see me. What do you want to see me for? I am all ears.” “I actually agreed at the last minute to do what you wanted me to do back then, but the guard decided not to allow me out of the drum.”I had also planned that I would use the guard’s hatred towards me to my advantage. After all, the wicked go down.“So, what you are saying is that he intentionally left you to die.” Valon tried to make sense of what I had just said to him.“That’s correct.” I affirmed, trying to maintain how fast my heart was beating.I wouldn’t want him to be suspicious of my moves.“Well, I do not believe you. If I have to believe you, then I will need evidence.” He replied as he clasped his fingers and rested his chin on them.“What evidence do you need? Because I am certain that you will get evidence. I know he hates me and wants to get rid of me.”“The only way I can get my evidence of what you claimed is if I make him your
