DAMIEN
I opened my eyes and blinked. I felt a dull ache in my body, but it was nothing compared to the pain I had felt before. I looked around and saw that I was in a bed, in a small and simple room. There was a window, a closet, a dresser, and a door. There were no signs of anyone else in the house. Where was I? Who brought me here? I tried to remember what had happened. I had been patrolling my pack’s territory, near the border with the Red Claw pack. They were our enemies, and they had been trying to encroach on our land for a long time. I just wanted to survey my Packs territory as the Alpha of the Silver Fang pack, everywhere had been calm for months and I thought maybe they had given up on trying. But I was wrong. It was a trap. They were waiting for me, hiding in the darkness. They attacked suddenly, from every direction. Claws, teeth, and even guns. There were too many of them, and I was alone. I fought hard, using all my strength and skill, but they overpowered me. I was badly hurt. They didn't just want to hurt me; they wanted to kill me and take over my territory, my pack. Still, I refused to surrender. With the very last of my strength, I fought to break free from their hold. I ran, my legs pumping as fast as they could carry me, away from the danger that threatened to swallow me whole. I didn't care where I was headed, only that it was far from them. Across the border, I dashed, into the territory of another pack. Which one, I couldn't tell, and it didn't matter. All that mattered was finding sanctuary, a haven where I could tend to my wounds and recover in peace. Somewhere along the way, my legs gave out beneath me. I collapsed, my body unable to bear the weight of my exhaustion any longer. Darkness swallowed me whole as I lost consciousness. I didn't know how long I had been out. I didn’t know who had found me, who had taken me in and saved my life. I felt thankful but also scared. How come there were faint scars where I had injuries on my body? I knew as werewolves, we healed faster but I had been in my human form and even with my wolf form, I wouldn't have healed so fast because the cuts that were on my body from the attackers were very deep. I didn’t know if they were good or bad, if they recognized me if they had a plan. I didn’t know if I should trust them, or if I should leave immediately. I decided to find out. I got up from the bed, slowly and carefully. I was still weak, but I could walk. I looked for my clothes, but I couldn’t find them. I was wearing a pair of sweatpants and a T-shirt that was not mine. They smelled like someone else, someone I didn’t recognize. It was a female wolf, her scent was so strong and for some reason, I knew I could always trace her with this scent. I wondered why she had helped me and where she was, i checked the small apartment even inside her bathroom but nobody was there and the house was empty like she had packed up her stuff and run away. I frowned. Who was this person? Why did they help me? What did they want from me? I couldn't just stay there anymore and crack my brain, I had to leave, so I went out of the apartment and took a cab back to my Pack. I sat in the cab, I had mixed emotions. I was angry, for being attacked by the Red Claw pack. I was curious, about being saved by a mysterious Omega. I was intrigued, for not being able to find her again. the cab parked in front of the pack house, a large and luxurious mansion that served as the headquarters of the Silver Fang pack. I got out and walked to the door, ignoring the stares and whispers of the pack members who saw me. They knew I had been gone for a whole day without anyone’s knowledge and they wondered what had happened to me. I entered the house and headed straight to the meeting room, where I had summoned the council members. They were the elders and leaders of the pack, who advised me and helped me run the pack. They were loyal and trustworthy, and I respected them. I opened the door and saw them sitting around a large table, waiting for me. They looked up and greeted me with respect and concern. “Alpha Damien, welcome back. We are glad to see you alive and well,” said Marcus, the Beta of the pack and my second-in-command. He was a tall and muscular man, with black hair and brown eyes. He was my best friend and right-hand man. “Thank you, Marcus. I appreciate your loyalty and support,” I said, as I took my seat at the head of the table. “I apologize for my absence, but I have a good reason for it. I have something important to tell you, something that concerns the safety and future of our pack.” They all looked at me with interest and attention, waiting for me to continue. “I was patrolling our border, alone, when I was ambushed by the Red Claw pack. They had set a trap for me, and they outnumbered me. They wanted to kill me.” They all gasped and murmured, shocked and outraged by the news. “How did you escape, Alpha?” asked Elena, the Gamma of the pack and the head of the security. She was a beautiful and fierce woman, with black hair and green eyes. She was in charge of the pack’s defense and protection. “I fought them with everything I had, but they were too many. I managed to break free and run, but I was badly wounded. I crossed the border, into another pack’s territory. I don’t know which one, but it doesn’t matter. What matters is that I found a house, where someone saved my life.” They all looked at me with surprise and curiosity, wondering who that someone was. “Who was it, Alpha?” asked Lucas, the Delta of the pack and the head of the intelligence. He was a smart and cunning man, with brown hair and gray eyes. He was in charge of the pack’s information and communication. “It was an Omega. A female Omega. she found me on her doorstep, bleeding and unconscious. She took me in and treated my wounds. She evacuated the apartment before I woke up, I think she didn’t want me to know who she was.” They all looked at me with astonishment and disbelief, wondering how that was possible. “An Omega? A female Omega? How do you know that Alpha?” asked Sophia, the Healer of the pack and the head of the medical. She was a kind and gentle woman, with red hair and brown eyes. She was in charge of the pack’s health and wellness. “Her scent was strong.” “We’re glad that you are safe. So what are we going to do about the Rival pack” Marcus asked. My eyes shone with anger and I declared. “We’re going to war”DAMIEN A roar of approval erupted from the council members as I announced my decision. We had suffered enough from the Rival pack's aggression. They had crossed the line when they ambushed me. They wanted me dead, but I survived. And now, we are going to make them pay. "Enough talk, let's go and rip them apart!" Elena shouted, eager to fight. "Wait, we need a strategy," Marcus said, trying to calm them down. "We can't just charge in blindly. We need to know their numbers and their weaknesses." "Marcus is right," I agreed. "We need to be smart about this. We have an advantage. They don't know we're coming. We can use that to surprise them and strike hard." "How do we find out what they are up to?" Lucas asked. "I have an idea," a voice said from the back. It was Alex, our pack's best tracker. "I can enter into their pack without being caught. Then find out what they are up to and also scout their defenses and report back to you." "That sounds risky," Marcus said, frowning. "I
BETSY When I noticed that he wasn't awake yet, I opened the door and slipped out quietly. I hailed a cab and told the driver to take me to the train station. I didn’t care where I was going, as long as it was far away from here. I bought a ticket for the next train, without looking at the destination. I boarded the train and found a seat. I put my backpack on the floor and leaned back. I closed my eyes and tried to relax. But the train didn't move immediately as I thought it would. I opened my eyes and looked around. The other passengers seemed restless and annoyed. I checked my phone and saw that it was already past the scheduled departure time. I felt a surge of anxiety. Why was this train delayed? What if somebody recognizes me? I had all sorts of thoughts on my mind Suddenly, a voice came over the loudspeaker. "Ladies and gentlemen, we apologize for the delay. We are waiting for a signal clearance from the control room. Please remain seated and patient. We will be moving sho

I couldn't believe what I had just seen before me. Damien, the tyrant Alpha who had made my life a living nightmare, lay dead at my feet. But I didn't kill him. I swear I didn't. The pack would never believe me. Omegas weren't supposed to defy Alphas, let alone harm them. I had to get out of there before they found me and executed me for a crime I didn't commit. I packed a small bag with some essentials and slipped out of the packhouse, my heart pounding with fear and adrenaline. As I ran through the dark forest, I could hear the sounds of the pack searching for me. Their howls echoed through the trees, driving me forward faster. Suddenly, I stumbled over a fallen branch and fell to the ground with a thud. Pain shot through my ankle, but I forced myself to keep moving. I pushed through the pain, ignoring the ache in my ankle as I continued to flee from the pack. "Oh my God!" I muttered as I turned to face the injured stranger. I pushed through the fear that was about to stop me, driven by instinct. I immediately knelt next to him, the metallic tang of blood heavy in the air. I quickly recognized him as the Alpha of the shadow Crescent Pack I wanted to run away and abandon him to his fate with every fiber of my body, but I was unable to do so. My instinct to assist and save a life that was in danger sparked something within me. I dragged him inside my house with shaky hands, his weight pressing heavily on my weak body. With a gentle thump, the door shut behind us, enclosing us in a realm of obscurity. He was covered in wounds, all of which bore witness to the trauma he had experienced. I hurried quickly, searching through my limited supplies for anything that may stop the bleeding or lessen his pain. As I labored, I lost track of time, using my hands with a desperation-driven precision. I tried my best to fix the damaged man's body that
