Fred sat down at the dining table, his mind still reeling from the earlier confrontation with Xander. He tried to focus on his food, but his appetite had vanished. The only thing he could think about was the argument he'd had with his brother, and how close he'd come to losing his temper. He knew that wouldn't have been good for anyone, least of all Jessie and the kids. So he tried to push the thoughts from his mind and focus on the food in front of him. But it was no use.

As Fred's mother sat in her room, she couldn't help but wonder what had brought him back home. She knew he had been living at the penthouse for some time, and she had assumed that he was doing well there. But something must have changed, she thought. What could have happened to make him come back? She was concerned for him, and for the rest of the family. She knew that tensions had been high between Fred and Xander for some time, and she feared that this could be the beginning of something much w
