My cheeks turned the shade of red at his outburst. I would have said he's drunk or something but I couldn't sniff in any of the sort from him. He's clearly in his right state of mind. Realizing he was still gazing intently at me, I frowned and pushed him off me. He must have seen the blushes on my cheeks right? Damn it! I resisted the urge to facepalm myself.

" What do you want? Why exactly did you call me?" I asked not cowering away even when he met my eyes. I stayed still, rooting for an answer. I was all fine now, I can no longer feel my face heating up so I think am good to go.

"To apologize "He replied with a nonchalant shrug casing me to huff audibly. I never knew kissing is a way to apologize to someone you had flee after a one night stand with. As much as I wanted to feel his lips on mine, I'm kinda happy it didn't happen. I won't want to have something with him in which the following morning, he'll call it nothing other than a mistake.
