Luna and Joshua exchanged glances.

The two of them knew very well that Bonnie would make this decision.

She had been reluctant to leave Merchant City in the first place, and after she had found out the truth of her and Jim's first encounter during their childhood, it was impossible to convince her to leave.

Therefore, Luna nodded and said, "Alright, then. You can stay here with us and help us regain Jim's memories."

Bonnie let out a bitter chuckle and nodded. "Let's hope all goes well."

With that, she turned and went upstairs to her room. "I'll go change."

Ten minutes later, she reappeared, dressed in thick clothing and wearing a cap and mask. Not a single inch of her skin was in sight.

Seeing Luna's surprised look, Bonnie chuckled and tipped her cap even lower to obscure her face. "I'm not entirely sure yet if Jim is indeed the boy I met when I was young, and I'm not certain whether Charlotte had stolen my identity to be together with Jim after I left the orphanage.
