Chapter 44.1 - Josh and Annie

“Ann… step aside a bit, I can't see her,” Josh whispered.

"Shhh... Josh! You're too loud," Annie replied in a very low voice, holding a tray of drinks and food.

"How can I be silent, if he does something like that! He's on his knees, Ann! Kneeling before women! Also, she is a woman!!!"

Ann immediately stuffed the cake into Josh's mouth to silence him. A second later, their eyes seemed to be about to pop out when suddenly Rai was standing in front of them.

Awkwardly, Annie couldn't help but smile, while Josh chewed the cake that was in his mouth while avoiding face-to-face with this vampire. Diana, on the other hand, sighed, trying to regulate her emotions.

With folded arms and body leaning against the wall, Rai asked, "What are you guys doing?"

“Delivered food and drinks,” Josh smiled awkwardly as he snatched the tray from Ann's hand.

The two of them then entered the room with Rai's sharp gaze. Josh placed this tray of drinks and food on the table, pushing it in front of Diana.
