~Harper~ Coming to Grizlo was just what my soul needed. Liam had come through for me, and I was grateful. I knew I should have opened up to my twin about how I felt, but how could I when I knew he had personal issues that he was dealing with. Talking to Liam about my problems would have been selfish because I knew he would somehow find a way to shoulder my burden. Had I known he had somehow healed and moved on, I would have told him how I felt. I respected Liam for staying committed to the cause even though his heart had changed course. I always knew it wouldn't work out between Sophia and Liam. They were the definition of our parents with their exes. They were just too close and spent so long together to ignite a spark. The fact that Liam could be rational about Sophia said it all, but he also needed to put himself out there to discover this on his own, and somehow, he did with none other than Josephine. I had never seen Josephine so full of life as I saw her when we arrived
~Charlotte~ I could not believe Caspian and I were heading to Cains. Although Marvin and Oliver were tagging along with their girlfriends, it was still going to be a thrilling experience. I was head over heels for Caspian, and I could tell he felt the same way. I understood Liam's need to be cautious, but I hoped they would know they had nothing to worry about where Caspian was concerned. I trusted him completely, and he had opened up his heart to me. "Our flight is in an hour," Caspian said to me, stroking my hand gently while we sat side by side on the couch in the lounge. "I am excited, Caspian, and a bit nervous about meeting your family," I confessed. He pulled me close and landed a gentle kiss on my lips. "You have nothing to worry about, Charlotte. It is an honour for them to meet you. My mother was a bit afraid when I told her who my mate was. I am sure they will be on their best behaviour and pamper you there. They have wanted me to settle down for a bit now, and now th
~Jospehine~ We were left alone at the airport with Kappa Wilson on guard. The fact that our flight was delayed made me a bit bored. I was looking forward to going to Gad. I knew my parents would want to speak to Liam about our relationship, and I was hopeful that it would go well. I knew that was precisely why Justin had sent us to Gad. Because, thinking of it, Justin could have also gone to Gad to get the list from Eric and then headed to Brighton to get the list from Nelson. These were trips they could have made in two days. I suspected that my father had a hand in this, and we will find out. "Where will we be staying when we get to Gad?" I asked Liam, and he did not know how to respond. I could tell he was a bit worried. "I would have stayed in one of my father's properties there, but we both know your father would want you home if we will be sleeping in Gad, so I guess I would stay at the Kuznetsov's Estate," he said. I knew there was no way we would be sharing a room. We only
~Harper~ We arrived in Lumas in an hour. We rarely go to Brighton, so I hadn't been to Lumas in a while, but it was a beautiful city now. Lord Alexei and Lord Clay, and their current Alpha, were doing an excellent job, and it was evident in how rapidly the West was developing. Eric was also a great contributor to development. As things were, the West was just as developed as the North, maybe a little bit more advanced, and we have to give it to the geniuses of the Stepanov clan. "Let's catch a cab to take us to Brighton," Justin said, and I adjusted my sunglasses and scarf to hide my identity. Justin had on a hat and sunglasses so no one could recognise us. We headed out and tried to call a cab. To our surprise, none was willing to go to Brighton. They claimed that road construction was ongoing, and thus, they could not travel the highway. It meant we were stuck. The only other option was to hire a Helicopter to do so. We would have to go through the Alpha. Lumas was a small c
~Harper~ Justin seemed a bit tired when he got in the car, and I wondered what he might have been up to. Leaving Jacob's Villa behind, I looked at my cousin where he sat. "How was your night?" I asked him, and he smiled. "Stayed awake all through," he said and looked at me. "I can see it was the same for you. I bet Jacob came to say hello," He said with a broad grin, and I wondered how he knew. "How did you know?" I asked him. "He kept his eyes on you from the moment we arrived. He tried tirelessly to get you alone, but I never gave him the chance. You were his focus all through. I was worried he would try something stupid at night, which was why I linked you, but it seems he is a gentleman after all," Justin said, and I did not know it seemed like that from the outside. I guess I had a lot to learn. "So, what did you discuss?" He asked me, and I sighed. "He gave me his number, took mine, and said he wanted us to be friends. He also said he would visit me in Grizlo," I said, an
~Charlotte~ We arrived at Caspian's home. I was surprised to see that it was a duplex. Once the Limo parked, I looked at him, waiting for his cue. "I live apart from my family. They live in the estate while I live here. We will go to the estate after we have settled in. I hope that is fine by you," he said to me, and I nodded with a grin because he had just made things a little hotter for both of us. "Are we staying here also?" Marvin asked him, realising they might be intruding, and Caspian nodded. "There are six rooms in this building. I am sure it is enough," Caspian replied, and Oliver sighed. "Great, we can have a room each," Oliver said, and Elaine smiled. "Layla and I can share a room," She said, looking at Layla, and I was surprised at their level of discipline. I thought they might camp together like Josephine and Liam. I guess Oliver had better self-control than Liam. Caspian might just be right about Josephine and Liam being fated; We would just have to wait and see.
~Liam~ The glint in Josephine's eyes indicated that she enjoyed the battle. I would lie if I said it wasn't thrilling. I was afraid, but at the same time, Alex and I saw it as an opportunity to practice everything we had been taught most of our lives. I had never been in a life-threatening situation before, so this was thrilling. It seemed like they had come to take us. The driver ensured that he stopped on an isolated road so they could attack his colleagues and subdue us. I guess they were not expecting the might they met. "I wonder why they did not use any of their contraband items before initiating this attack. The wolves seemed pretty ordinary to me," Josephine said, making a valid observation. They must have known Josephine and I would not go down easily. Josephine had the same abilities as Aunty Amelia, making her super fast and deadly. I was as tough as my dad. They would have needed the Agk32 to successfully subdue us. I know it is wrong for dealers to get high
~Leo~ Things had hit a standstill with the investigation until Justin called to inform us about the housekeeper they had caught. Although Tamia had seen a fair image of Margret in the photo, we couldn't be sure if she was among them. I had to commend Vino for insisting that we flag her as a person of interest just in case she is a part of it. If not, we wouldn't have been suspicious enough to arrest and question her. I had to give it to the Grizlo team; they were on fire and performing very well. To think that we believed if we allowed our children in the same place, they wouldn't work. I was glad to see everyone bringing their expertise on board, and so far, no one had complained about my boys. I was worried Justin would find Noah and Sebastien impossible to deal with, but they have been working fine so far. As things were, our children seemed more efficient than us, and even though they were sent to Grizlo so they would be away from the mess, we ended up putting them right
