Marliey, you’re spot on. They coped the best way they could. Adrian as a trained Alpha, should have thoroughly investigated this, instead he took the cowards way out.

I find this story to be suspicious. I also feel Jacob's mother isn't being truthful in explaining what happened regarding her motivation. If she didn't believe Rachael's claims she should have allowed and pushed for an investigation. She deprived Adrian of a chance to take his rightful title .
