Ruth's expression eased into a smile. Seeing that Ruth had recovered, Sabrina could finally relax slightly. She did not even step foot in the office for the entire day and went straight home after picking Aino up. Upon arriving at their residential area, Sabrina subconsciously looked around her in search of those familiar eyes. But no matter how hard or long she looked, she couldn't find them. Sabrina returned home with a heavy heart, and remained gloomy during dinner and her playtime with Aino afterward.

Sebastian came home to her like this. "What's wrong?"

She sighed. "Sebastian, my mom...do you think she is still alive?"

Sebastian didn't know what to say. He couldn't be certain of the answer so he couldn't promise her anything. He could only hold her close.

That night, the two entwined into one with her taking most of the initiative. As though that wasn't enough, she seemed extremely eager to have another child. Each time, she would ask, "We have been together for a few months now,
