Chapter 570

Having not seen her for a week, Ruth Mann had lost so much weight she looked like a different person. Sabrina didn’t have much affection for Ruth, so when she saw her looking all pitiful, she didn’t feel much surprise or sympathy. However, Yvonne rushed over and hugged Ruth’s arm. “Ruth, what happened? I haven’t seen you for two days, you look like you’ve lost ten pounds!”

“I’m fine,” Ruth mumbled.

Yvonne asked again, “Why are you here?”

Ruth blinked and a glob of eye discharge dropped out of her eye, it seemed like she hadn’t been sleeping well. She wiped her face messily. “Yvonne, could you lend me a hundred dollars? I haven’t eaten in two days.”

“Huh?” Yvonne looked at Ruth in shock. “What happened? Why don’t you eat at home? What about your parents? Aren’t they home?”

Ruth answered bitterly, “They chased me out.”

Yvonne was shocked. “Why?”

Ruth bit her lip. “Because…”

She glanced at Sabrina then stopped talking. She bowed to Sabrina respectfully, “Mrs. Ford…hello.”
