Eira was so frightened that she jumped. She turned around and saw Brooke. "You…don't you have piano practice today? Why are you home?"

Brooke's voice was sharp. "You're a thief! You're a bad person! I finally know why you have to come to my house now. You have always been a beggar and a thief, right? I definitely don't feel bad for Brooke. Glad she fell down the stairs. Hopefully they'll think a burglar broke in. Eira better run out unseen and hide that necklace real good or else they'll think her brother did it or he'll just take the blame for her.
