Hearing Alex's low and hoarse voice only deepened the blush on Jane's face. She knew distinctly that Alex was flirting with her, and though she did not feel the same, she felt nothing but a sense of security.

Seven, almost eight years of companionship, through riches and difficulties, they ate and lived together, day and night, but none of that compared to a woman from across the world.
