Where was Jane? Alex was speechless. He ended the call before answering Sabrina.

Sabrina lashed out. “Hello! Hello! You jerk! I always thought you were a good man, a prudent…”

Even though she knew he had already hung up the phone, Sabrina still continued shouting at him from her end. Sebastian took the phone from her. “Give him time to sober up. I’ll ask him again after he’s calmed down.”

Alex stood on the balcony and watched as they left. Leaving the balcony, he went to Lily Parker’s room.
